I'm kind of on a personal fact-finding mission. I read somewhere that male cats are more likely to develop lymphoma than females. My Inky was a male.
Since I'm going to be getting a new kitten shortly, I was wondering if you all would mind telling me what gender your cats were that you lost due to lymphoma. Thanks. This may prove interesting, if nothing else. Pat -------------------- INKY November 26, 1991-February 5, 2005

Pat,
Thank you for your kind words about Bubba. Yes, it is so difficult to have a healthy cat one day and then the next they are deteriorating so rapidly. I was taking him to the vet at least 2 times a week trying to figure out what was wrong. We thought it was an infection till the antibiotics were not working, and he was going down so rapidly. Bubba couldn't make it in the litter box he was hurting so bad. Bubba was that very special once in a lifetime friend. He had a very pampered life and I loved him so much. I understand what you are going thru. Inky and Bubba are now free of the bodies that were causing them so much discomfort, and are now in the spirit world. I know in my heart that they are with us in spirit and visit us from time to time. |
