Thank you all for letting me in to read your posts... On February 7th, 2004, at approximately 11:45am EST, our little "Ernie" (beautiful, DSH, double pawed calico), at age 20, was put to sleep today... I've done nothing but cry, and there's not much I can write right now, but it was comforting to read everyones entries. "Her dad & I" are eachother's "comforts" right now; I am SO GLAD to know a place like this exists so that I will be able to share--to comfort & be comforted.... Again, thank you for letting me get to know some of you and read your stories. I will write as soon as I'm able. God Bless! 20 Years! Wow, what a long time to create special, wonderful memories. Unfortunately, it probably makes the loss all thatmuch harder as well. You have my sympathies.
