Gizy, today we sent some money to the animal shelter in Russia.
The lady who owns it is very nice and sweet, she's been saving homeless dogs and cats for a few years now, spending her own money on the vet bills.
Gizy, thank you for opening mommy's eyes and heart on the cruel reality of this world where so many puppies and kittens need our helping hand.

We went to meet Rhett last night. Daddy and I decided that he will be a good fit for us and you too. He is very cute, you will like him.

Thank you for checking on us. I found the drawing on the Internet and I loved it, it represents out life after life when we are together with Gizy again.

We are happy we found Rhett, he is adorable. He is getting his neuter surgery tomorrow morning and after the stitches are removed we can bring him home.

It is still very hard without my baby boy Gizy, I miss him so much. No one will ever replace my boy Gizy, he was and is a very special boy and he will always live in my heart.

My baby boy, today is a month and 21 days since you left and there haven't been a day that mommy did not cry for you. Gizy, I love you so much baby and always will.

Congratulations! Of course you are not replacing Gizy. Gizy's last gift to you is to open your eyes to animals in need and to inspire you to give Rhett a new, loving home. I believe that one day you will be joined with Gizy. Until that time, Gizy will be with you in spirit.

I am very happy we found Rhett and I know Gizy is happy that we got him a brother.
I just really miss Gizy, his awesome personality, his giggles, the funny things he did... I miss him so much! He was just an amazing puppy, he was like a little person, understood me and could sense my feelings, my mood. It's hard to explain, we just had a very special bond between us and it hurts not to have my boy around.



Gizy, baby, I miss you my lovely pumpkin. You know how much I love you and how much I miss you every minute of my day and night. Yesterday I bought you a beautiful Hibiscus tree, it's out on your porch. I just need to take a picture to put on here.

It is so cold here... Remember last year about the same time mommy had to put your little Juicy Couture jacket on you? You looked so adorable even thought I think you didn't like to wear it.
Baby boy, I miss you so much.
Your little outfits are still hanging in my closet, I should say in our closet. I touch them and cry every time I am trying to pick out an outfit for myself.

I also hope that Gizy and Bicky can become good friends on the other side....They both are such good souls.
I know Bicky lacks confidence, so he needs all the pals he can get.
What's new with me? Well, I have been toying with the idea of finally getting a brother or sister for my Bicky.
There are two main reasons I haven't so far...One reason is because recently I travel often back and forth between North America and Japan, so keeping a dog might be difficult. The other reason is that I'm still mourning Bicky's loss considerably.

The reason I am thinking of taking in a rescue is because there are still many stray/abandoned dogs from the horrible earthquake and tsunami two years ago. Countless dogs need homes and I can't, in good conscience, ignore this situation.
I owe this to Bicky's memory...If it weren't for him, I never would have learned how wonderful fur babies truly are.....He was the best friend I ever had or will have.
So...That's what's new!

Hi Mark,

Some people say that I am getting Gizy a brother or sister too soon, but I think Gizy wants mommy to bring another little furry soul home, the one that truly needs love and companionship, the one that will play with Gizy's toys. Gizy knows that no one will ever replace him, but mommy's heart is big enough and has plenty of love for Gizy and his brother. Gizy is my special little boy, I will never stop loving him, talking to him every day, kissing his face through the cold glass of the picture frame.
In memory of Gizy I decided to adopt a doggie instead of buying a little puppy. Rhett is almost 3 years old and he is a retired show dog who was looking for a home.

Good luck Mark, I think if you do decide to welcome home Bicky's brother or sister, Bicky will be very happy. Those stray dogs really need someone's love.
