Hi, Tracy, sending Friday evening greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits. Hopefully by now you are on your way home to your precious furkids who are eagerly anticipating your arrival. This is the best time of the day, AND the best birthday present ever.
I'm glad the Benadryl is helping your precious little Tang with his itchy ear. You may notice he becomes a little less lethargic or "mellow" the more often you may need to give it to him. This is normal. Noah appears to be doing well today. It has been a very cloudy day here, which has had him snuggled into his lamb's wool cushion with his paws over his eyes for most of the day - - with the exception of when he hears the sound of FOOD available in the kitchen. I hope today has treated you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels home will be safe and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening together. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious companions. Please know you and your precious Theresa and little Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas. Peace and blessings, moon_beam -------------------- In heaven's perfect garden there is no grief or pain, and all of God's creation join the angels' sweet refrain.

Thank you DannysMom and moon_ beam for the Birthday wishes. It was not the best birthday ever, but at least it's over with.
moon_ beam, yes the Benadryl does make Tang "mellow" as you say, but I try to keep it to a minimum. Half the minimum dose, and only as I see him scratch or evidence there of. This Caturday is shaping up to be a bit cold and windy. But the sun is supposed to come out later. Just have to get thru this day before I'm off for a day. The shift itself isn't bad. It's the fact I spend as much time commuting to and from as I do working, almost. Theresa and Tang are well, as I hope Noah, Mindy, and Shelley are. I hope you both have a great Caturday. Hi, Tracy, cloudy, sometimes sunny, Caturday evening greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits. Soon you will be on your journey home to your precious furkids who are eagerly anticipating your arrival.
It has been a busy day here with the monthly "bill-a-thon." Finally have things in order ready to go to the post office on Monday to mail the payments I cannot make online. Also need to get more stamps as I will be using all the ones I have for Monday's mail. Thankfully a roll of 20 stamps can last me close to 4 months now. Noah has been keeping me faithful company. He's taking a nap on his lamb's wool cushion as I'm writing to you. Still have the lunch dishes to wash and need to make a trek to the mailbox. I hope today has treated you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels home will be safe and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening together. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious companions. Thank you moon_beam
My second bus home last night was only 7 minutes late - pretty good all considered. Doing laundry now with the usual collection of drunk/stoned tenants milling about in and out of the laundry room. Theresa and especially Tang following me about while I get this chore done. Next week at this time it will be an hour earlier - and an extra hour to sleep, YAY. Not much going on here. I hope you and Noah have a great day. TTFN TTT -------------------- Nature's first green is gold

Hi, Tracy, cloudy, breezy, gloomy Sunday afternoon greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
So glad your travels home yesterday went well. I remember so well about the timing of bus connections. The only thing I "miss" about the benefits of city living is the option for public transportation which comes in handy as you get older. Hope by now you have your laundry done without any adverse encounters or losing your money in the machines. I never really figured out why a tenant should have to pay for the privilege of using the laundry facilities provided. It seems to me this is a part of the rent you pay as a tenant - - right? I know management claims the money to use the machines is supposed to go for their maintenance and / or replacement. But you don't pay extra for the refrigerator or stove in the apartment - - they aren't coin operated, right? So what's the difference? One of life's many mysteries. All is quiet here so far. The region is under a high wind warning until Wednesday morning. Haven't gotten any rain yet from Sandy but the chance for light rain is still in the forecast through Tuesday. Soon it will be time to go to the kitchen to put lunch on the stove warming. Noah is curled up on his bathroom window perch taking a nap at the moment. I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious companions will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious companions. Please know you and your precious Theresa and little Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas. Hello Tom's Dad! Rainy and windy Sunday afternoon greetings to you! Hurricane Sandy has been affecting us since late last night. Getting lots of rain and wind, some power outages. I'm also trying to get my laundry done. The girls are doing okay, only Shelley is a bit scared. I had opened the balcony door because Mindy was wanting to get out. Shelley just sat by the door and as a gust of wind blew in she got scared. She is the more sensitive one and she loves being held and reassured by me when she's scared.
Today is my 10 month angel-versary for Danny and my 6 month angel-versary for Tina, but there's no sense going down to the pet cemetery. If Tina was still with me she'd probably swat at the raindrops rolling down the window pane. She was never afraid of storms. Tina would often sit by the window and watch the lightning. She was so fearless. She would even venture out into the snow. Hope you and Tang and Teresa have a good afternoon. -------------------- Danny: March 4, 2001 - December 28, 2011

Thank you moon_beam. Yeah I agree a free laundry room would be nice. Considering what I pay for rent (and now water) but I don't see that happening any time soon. I finally looked into the apartments by where I work, and they want almost as much for an efficiency as I pay for a 2 bedroom (not including extras - such as a LOT more for pets) So much for that idea
![]() Thank you DannysMom. My condolences on your 10 month angel-versary for Tina. Those are always rough, I know. Today has been gloomy and cold, and not just in terms of the weather. For some odd reason, I had been thinking of an old girlfriend. Old as in we broke up in 1997 and I have not had any contact with her in a few years give or take. On again/off again kind of stuff. I'd been wondering why she was no longer on the Insight email list and her account was no longer coded as employee. So this morning while doing laundry I Googled her and and the 4th hit was for her obituary ![]() Theresa and Tang are well and we have had our cuddle times - her on the couch, Tang in the bed. I hope you both as well as Noah, Mindy and Shelley are well and have a peaceful evening. TTFN TTT -------------------- Nature's first green is gold

Hi Tracy,
I hope your day is going well.....I don't know about these things, but it sounds like your friend was trying to contact you. I am so sorry she passed away. Our area is under a wind advisory for late this afternoon until tomorrow night. I don't know if it will reach your area. Several different cats have been coming around including Bully Bobtail. ![]() Give Theresa and Tang a special pat for me and stay safe.....God Bless... Hi, Tracy, blustery cloudy sometimes rainy Monday afternoon greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your companions doing well and in good spirits.
I imagine it was a shock discovering your ex-girlfriend's obituary. Sorry the cost of the apartment closer to your job is "more for less." Perhaps there may come a time when your options will improve. Sandy is huffing and puffing outside, and we have gotten some light showers in this area which may become more steady tonight through tomorrow. Glad I was able to get my post office errand run this morning so that I don't have to go back out until the storm is completely out of the region. My heart and prayers are with the people along the shore and in the New England region who are receiving a direct hit. Hope you and your precious companions are safe. Lunch is done and Noah is snuggled into his lamb's wool cushion taking a nap as I'm writing to you. Still have the lunch dishes to do. I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels home will be safe and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening together. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious companions. Thank you LoveMyMickey. Do you mean she was trying to contact me before, or um, after?
Thank you moon_beam. It was indeed a shock; not at all what I was expecting. I'm kind of sorry things were left on such a negative note between us. Been windy and cold here today. After hours meeting tomorrow and I have a ride home. The down side is no OT available, so I have 3 hours to kill and not at all good weather to do it in (sigh) Still, I'd rather be off the next day all considered. I'm just getting so tired of this gig. I got a VM today from Randstad (which is really just Today's now - same number) If it's the Republic tax gig again, so not interested. But God might have decided to throw me a bone, who knows. I'll call tomorrow and find out. Not holding my breath though. Of course last year I didn't hear about it until almost Thanksgiving and it didn't start until December. And that was the first wave. We'll see. Theresa and Tang are both well. I hope you both as well as the neighborhood cats and Noah are well. Have a blessed evening. LoveMyMickey, I had a similar thought. Now that I think of it, I may have had a dream (or what seemed like a dream) about her just before that. Still, why me? I guess I will never know

Hi, Tracy, gusty breezy cloudy bone chilling Tuesday evening greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your companions doing well and in good spirits.
So today is your long day at work. I hope the meeting will go quickly so that you can get home to you precious furkids earlier than anticipated. Sorry the call from Randstad was for a return performance with Republic. At least you know you are still in their "active" records and you are in a position now where you can be more selective about the job opportunities presented. I can imagine you are getting weary of your current job - - if for no other reason than the commuting. THAT by itself is exhausting. Having to contend with supervisors who are not forthcoming with encouragement adds to the burden. Just keep doing the best you can, Tracy. Last night the wind was quite fierce here. Neither Noah nor I like gusty gale winds. When I woke up this morning I saw him perched on his lamb's wool cushion at the foot of the bed looking out the big double door. This was the same position he was in when I finally fell asleep last night - - as though he kept vigil all night long to make sure his home would be okay. Hopefully by tomorrow the wind will have calmed again and the sun may make an appearance late in the day. Both Noah and I are looking forward to calmer breezes and sunshine again. No damage here and we are blessed with electricity, although there are some areas in the region that are experiencing power outages. I hope they will be restored quickly. Made a trek to the mailbox a few minutes ago and there is quite a chilling bite as well. Was glad to get back inside. I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels home will be safe so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening together. The good news is that you do have tomorrow off to hopefully spend most of it with your precious Theresa and little Tang. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious companions. Please know you and your precious Theresa and little Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas. Thank you moon_beam
Just killing time for almost 3 hours until the meeting (sigh) The sup who was going to give me a ride home did not show up today. So, I had to get into chat and beg a ride. I did get one, which is a relief. But really. Say you will give a person a ride then not show up? But, as you said, I'm off tomorrow. I'm smiling at Noah keeping a vigil. Theresa and Tang get like that in bad weather too. I think they just want to feel safe that they will have a home. Especially Tang having been abandoned in the rain ![]() Glad you didn't lose power, and hope you don't have need of that new generator any time soon. But my heart goes out for the people on the east coast and their animal companions. Times like this I'm SO glad I don't work at LG&E anymore. Not much else going on. I hope that you and your precious Noah have a blessed and peaceful evening. TTFN TTT -------------------- Nature's first green is gold

Hi, Tracy, SUNNY Wednesday afternoon greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
SOOOOO glad you were able to acquire a ride home last night after the meeting. I imagine you will be cautious on relying on your previous supervisor in the future, unless it was a situation that he could not anticipate. The important thing was that you were able to acquire a ride home. Hope you are being able to enjoy being home with your precious companions today. Your precious Theresa and little Tang are very blessed to have you for their Forever Dad. Sounds like your little boy will always have some bad memories of the trauma he experienced while he was homeless. How fortunate he is to have your loving heart to comfort him when those bad memories become overwhelming for his sweet little heart to bear. It is still quite breezy here but not fierce like Monday evening. Noah is my little caregiver for sure. He seems to be more at ease today now that the wind is beginning to slow down. He is snuggled into his lamb's wool cushion with his paws over his eyes taking a well deserved nap. Thank you moon_beam (I posted earlier, but where did it go?)
I'm glad I got a ride too. The other sup did know he was going to be out which is just wrong. Why did he even agree to give me a ride home? The good news is that we were done in less than a hour. Yeah, poor Tang is still scared of thunder storms, but I think he knows that his forever dad will be here for him. I allowed for some balcony time but neither seemed up to it for long. It was kind of cold. Not much else going on here. The kids are doing well, as I hope you and Noah are. Have a blessed evening. TTFN TTT -------------------- Nature's first green is gold
