I unearthed some more pictures of my Bubba and just wanted to share my joy. They are so precious to me and I cried when I found them...

Big hunter boy outside with his sisters a couple years ago.

My proud boy years ago

At 18 years of age...a few months after this was made he would leave my world. He gave me 18 1/2 incredible years. He was my soulmate. (This one was made with my phone--it's still the background--it wasn't one of the ones I just found. Even as a very old man, he was proud and magnificent.)

With the only other kitty he loved--his Earth sister Medina

The image permanently etched in my mind

Peace and love to you all,
Cherie,
Bubba's forever mommy

What a treasured find these photos of your boy must be for you! But I can well understand why they bring such tears, too. I wish I could find long-lost pics myself of my own glossy-black fur-son, but alas, there are only the few I already have.

And yes, the soft-edged one of Bubba is precious and so evocative. Beautiful! Just as it is for you I'm sure, it reminds me, too, of that glorious but now bittersweet mental image of how my own boy looked as he'd trot towards me, in anticipation of hugs, rubs, smooches, more closeness. One day closer to reunion time....*sigh*...

I also have to ask - is that you with Bubba, sitting on the chair? Whoever this is, really uncannily, she looks SO much like one of my first SILs (fr. my brother's first marriage) whose name was......Sherry!! (and if that is you, you're as beautiful as your precious boy, so making a lovely pair! smile.gif )
