Although I did visit your tribute when you posted it with your original story in D&D, I would like to say here again...it is a beautiful tribute to Acorn and I hope many here take the time to see the work you did for your baby.

Hugs....this is a really difficult time for you and many here are going through identical pain and others have already been through the worst part of the pain...cause it never really goes away completely but does lessen over time as we realize there is only acceptance left to heal the grief.

Saturday is your special memorial services for Acorn and your past loss, Joshua, and I will be thinking of you and them and sending a hug to all of you.

Hope to see a picture in the forum of Acorn soon. Your tribute shows how beautiful he is. I know it has been a while since you lost Joshua but I wondered if you have a picture of him also?

It seems to help us to smile for a moment when we look at pictures.

Take Care and I have been following your other topics on Acorn in the other sections and replying there also.

I read how hard Saturday was and I wish you peace and healing. We all need plenty of that.

Hugs

Sorry about you little baby Acorn. That's a cute name btw.

I'm at work and tried to view your tribute to Acorn but they have myspace blocked here. mad.gif

I'll have to check it at later at home.

Yes losing a pet is hard, very hard, in fact, I've never been through anything so hard, even after losing my dad, and that was hard.(don't be mad pop)

So don't feel alone in your pain, we are all in it with you.

I began to suspect the reason it is harder to lose a pet is because our human loves know they will go someday, and they understand it.
There is no way to explain it to a pet, or to comfort a pet, because the pet lives in perfect innocence of the future.
We adore them and treasure their love so much precisely because they live for the moment in the present.
And because they do that , the love between us and our pets is total, unconditional, and unquestioning.

No cat or dog ever asks, 'Why don't you make more money" or "Why can't you be more like the person next door?"

All they care about is that you are YOU, and everything in their lives.
