It has been a while since I posted any Iggy Funnies. Two weeks ago I had to take my wife to the ER for kidney stones. While there, I caught a repiratory infection (Probably some horrid Third World Mutation!) and a week later ended up there myself!

Anyway, all is well, and my wife found this somewhere on the web, and mailed it to me, and was pretending that Iggy GREW SOME MORE, and was last seen shouting

"TAKE THAT, YOU STARBUCK'S YUPPIE!"

Glad you are well and back. Glad your wife is okay too. Stones are no fun at all..

Iggy looks so comfortable in the car. Looks like he got to that 80 pounds quicker than you thought.

Lucky is now about 11.8 lbs as of Monday's nailclipping....so he has gained about 2 lbs since 12/26 when we got him.
I sure thought he was eating more than that.

Lucky got his dad a card for Father's Day....something about...I didn't wrap your present but I left it in a nice box rolleyes.gif

And the cat on the cover was black...go figure!

Love your pictures of Iggy lying around..a perfect black and white picture. Wonder what Sam thinks of the energetic Iggy?

Glad to hear you and your wife are on the mend. Welcome back. I wondered why you weren't around and missed your Iggy Funnies.

Take care and I'll look forward to more updates of fun about Iggy. laugh.gif

Sam has wanted a playmate for years. They are fascinated with each other and are still setting rules.
Iggy can be a bit much.
I snuck up on him as he was sunning himself at the slider. My little camera has a neck cord, so predictably....

Loved the video. Seeing the reflections I wonder if he is attacking the door or

possibly his own reflection in the door?

I notice when Lucky looks at a glass cabinet..I can see his reflection and he gets all excited and I don't think he is excited to play my old records. rolleyes.gif

Iggy is still looking so adorable. As he gets long...you may be able to wear him around your neck

I already can. He lays across my throat, which is not entirely agrreable. He sleeps next to me with his head on my shoulder, and his arm across my chest, laying on his back like a little person. Sometimes he shoves his nose in my ear so I can hear him breathe and snort. I GUESS it is a good thing. I think.

Sometimes Iggy Funnies just show up, and here are some from an hour ago.

Iggy has become an Arctic Explorer, and has developed a fascination with ICE.

PS: Iggy is now nearly the size of Sam, the delicate Siamese.

Iggy's rear feet grow madly for a week, till he starts stepping on his front feet with them.

Then he grows into them the next week, and then it starts all over.

I think he will be a big cat. His tail is now 10.5" long and he is nearly six pounds.

His father "King Tut" weighs nearly 16.

WOW!!!

Little Guy was 16 pounds...a nice size ...is too heavy for around the neck but I used to sling him over my shoulder just fine.

Loved the pictures, especially comparing the 2 sweethearts!

When we take our other cats to the vet, it is pretty unpleasant. Sam the Siamese howls and complians nonstop during the ride, and Murphy fights us.

Iggy, however is a good sport. He LIKES the carrier. I left it out from his recent trip to complete his shots.

Really, is this TOO EASY, or what?

Squeal...Aren't his huge PINK feet cute?

What is it with kitties and printers? My Lucky always wants to put his nose where the paper comes out. I know one is not supposed to look directly at the laser light so I shoo him away. So much being curious.

Now that carrier picture is really precious. I know what you mean about the vet. My 3 I lost ...none of them would go willingly. Lucky now jumps in the cardboard carrier...he loves the ride and doesn't mind being at the vet. After almost 17 years the other way...this is a pleasant surprise, right Jon...and especially from a kitten like Iggy. I always think Lucky was moved around so much in shelters...he got used to it. But my 3 I raised from kittens...never liked it.

That ice cubes story is cute. What a baby boy Iggy is!

I thought of you two the other day when Lucky jumped up from the floor out of the blue right into the middle of my desk..which was full of stuff..and I just about jumped up to the ceiling. Does Iggy jump in the middle of things like that too? I know when a surface looks empty..it is a temptation but usually when there are stacks of papers and cups, etc., I do not expect my 11 pound cat to jump in the middle of it.

I expect him to now, which is a good thing. I needed the discipline to keep the desk less cluttered, anyway.
The worst is the pre-bedtime "Insane Attacks" when he orbits around and around the rooms.

There is a flickering black, white, and pink blur that looks something like a comet, or like a Road Runner cartoon, and all surfaces are cleared off.
I shout "You're crazy!" and he purrs and struts with his tail sticking up like an antenna.

The nightly "Atack the Feet" game has taken on a grim turn. He has discovered it is much more fun if he sneaks UNDER the blankets.

But to show there are no hard feelings, he leaves a catnip mouse on my pillow once in a while. He can't find the Andes Mints, I guess.

He keeps all his toys in that Cat Cabana, and usually puts them back when he is done killing them.

I suppose any Cat Employee would say, "He is really a unique character". They are all special in their own ways, but I hit the jackpot with Iggy. wub.gif

BEAUTIFUL PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see Iggy is learning about money......maybe he wants an allowance? blink.gif

Absolutely love those pictures, Jon!

He looks like he needs a kiss right on top of that perfect little nose!

Let's see...Iggy weighs 6.6 pounds and he is how old? Lucky is supposed to be about 2 1/2 and weighs 11.6 pounds. I think you said Iggy had a big daddy.....wonder what daddy weighed? (his other daddy). tongue.gif

Iggy was born March 16, so he is just four months old.
His father, "King Tut" weighs 16 pounds.
This is going to be interesting to watch, because his feet are always too big for him. He is nowhere near growing.

I can imagine next year:

Well, Iggy sounds like he will be a really BIG BOY.

Funny I keep getting flashbacks to the picture you posted here of him in that convertible car..
You may have to get a BIGGER CAR, Jon...... rolleyes.gif

Iggy has a Girlfriend! Iggy has a Girlfriend!

Iggy and Sam, the ever-youthful "Mutton Dressed as Lamb" old lady are becoming Best Friends!
Sam now has a spring in her step and is a much happier cat than she has been for years.

OK Jon, You are one of those people that are making me want to make a potential brother or sister for Sasha a feline. And I would, except that my husband has OCD and because he and I are allergic to cats, he is afraid to adopt one because he knows that once that happens, and I would have to let one go, he would be the one to go, not the cat.

Love the Iggy pics and narration- what a beauty he is!

Not to be a homewrecker, but I just learned that Igyy's stemother did not spay his mother in time, and King Tut snuck next door and got lucky again.

Yes, it looks like Iggy got stuck in a Xerox Machine.

The Kitty Lady thinks there may be six this time, but she had them behind a wall, so they will be persuading her to bring them out. A number are tuxedos, just like him.

There is no doubt of who the culprit is. King Tut is the only male tuxedo around.

I think the neighbors should rename him "Ramses".
