[COLOR=blue][SIZE=7] Dear SJ J & S and Muffins, Your choice to do this website and provide all the helps here and be here for us does so very much good for all of us and our animal creature babies, and fills a very big need that most persons do not fill. You are giving LOVE to us and you are giving THE TRUTH to us. You have helped so many persons every day for a long time, and you are continuing to choose to love us and our creatures more again. God Bless You and Keep You. I humbly thank you both. Lightning Strike is the best site I have found for this need, and I get much more help here and more love and truth here than anyplace else. You encourage and inspire us, and you help unite us, and we are not alone. Your Animal-Lover Friend, Maureen -- joywarrior

Dear Maureen:

Your letter is beautiful, Maureen......but, I cannot take the credit for this most wonderful pet-grief site, Lightning-Strike.

MD Cohn, (Marc), is the Founder/Administrator of Lightning-Strike, and I urge you to read how Lightning-Strike came to be in 1996.

You can click on: http://www.lightning-strike.com/pet-death-story.htm
and read MD's story about his precious kitty, "Tribble".
Lightning-Strike was born shortly after Tribble's wub.gif death, and is a tribbute to him...

So....MD Cohn is the person who we all thank every single day biggrin.gif !! When you see a post that is signed "LS Support", that is from Marc.

I'm a member of LS just like yourself.........and....a VERY GRATEFUL ONE at that!!

Because Marc cannot be here 24 hours a day, SJ J & S (Sue) and I are moderator's. And, we're also members of Lightning-Strike, too.

After my sweet girl Ernestine was put to sleep on Feb. 7th, 2004, I came right here to LS about 12 hours later. Absolutely every single person here has been (and always will be) very instrumental in my healing, and I will be eternally grateful to each & every one of them!!

You've been in my prayers, Maureen.

God Bless You!

Love, Denise

it's all good Denise. You and Sue definitely do more of the day-to-day support nowadays. after 10+ years in the pet-loss realm, i have found it difficult to say anything new that hasn't already been said.

glad you have found what you needed here, joywarrior!

Thank you Maureen but as has been said the total credit goes to MD.

Muffin and I were both once in your shoes, (truth be told still are).

As you know this site was very instrumental in our healing and we want to protect it from unkind people who want to hurt others for some reason or another.

I too struggle with this MD, but remember that the person we are talking too directly has only heard it once.

Love Sue

Dear Marc and Denise and Sue, Yeah, I found Marc's story about Tribble and about starting this website when I first came to it, and I forgot about Marc in that moment when I wrote my post to thank you. So I am happy that you reminded me about Marc, and I thank all three of you for answering my post. smile.gif This site is my lifeline now. But I have no way to do the internet at my home, so sometimes I cannot use the internet for a long time, also due to other work I need to do, so do not mistake my absences. I have been every day dying to get onto the internet to come to my friends here. Like coming home, whew!! God bless you and keep you. I will be coming here for as long as this site lives onward.
