Baron died yesterday he was my baby german shepard my life is so empty and I cannot stop crying I keep looking for him but he is not here, his brother is very depressed they were together all the time now he just howls and is constantly looking for him. I do not know how to deal with this very well. He was fine then he was very sick on sunday I took him to the dr they said he swallowed something but when they operated on him they found his large intestine was destroyed from being twisted and it died we had to let him go. Baron gave us such happiness and joy he gave my life unconditional love and extreme happines not only to me but his brother Lothar, my 2 children and my husband. We are in exteme pain and I want him back!!!

First, let me say I'm soooo sorry at the loss of your baby Baron. Everyone here knows what you are going through because we've all been through it, at least once. His brother is grieving just like you. You need to grieve, whatever that may be for you, and hold your other dog tight. Cry with him. With time, you both will accept what happened.

I lost my ##er spaniel, Bailey, a week and a half ago. Hunter, my other dog had been with her all his life, 9 years, and he was beside himself for the first couple of days. Sitting on her pillow looking out the door for her, going in and out of her crate, following me everywhere. But, with each day, he has come to accept that she's not coming back. But, we both know, that we'll meet Bailey again at the bridge.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Baron. None of us here understand why these things have to happen. I guess we are not supposed to. I know you wanted Baron around for a while longer, but as someone told me, I guess he had other plans. Give your other furry friend, Baron's brother, lots of attention, hugs, and kisses. He may be grieving, but you are fortunate to have him around right now to help you with your grief as well. Take care, and when things get too sad, come back and tell us some of the characteristics that made your precious Baron so special. Take care.... wub.gif
