What is the difference between a message board and chat room? I have posted on the message board quite frequently since my dearest friend and baby died, but I haven't seen anything about a chat room.

I also want to thank the person who started this site. I don't know what I would have done without it during this terrible time.

the pet loss forum/message board and blogs allow you to participate at your own pace and time. the chat room is live and you converse directly with someone else in real time, such as popular chat applications as yahoo messenger and aol instant messenger.

most people set up their own times to chat, this site has never been very successful coming up with a set scheduled time.
