to minimize the spam, which has been picking up lately, it is now required for me to manually validate your email when registering. this can take up to 72 hours, but i usually get most people validated within one day.

*you must use a valid email address, i cannot stress this more. i would suggest using your ISP provided email address for best results, as i manually check to see what domain you are using for email.

*because of frequent spammer signups, email addresses with the extension *.info or *.biz are now blocked from registration. if you have an address outside of North America and find it difficult to register, email me with your desired login name, screen name, and password so i can activate your account.

*if you use any email address that 1) is not associated with a valid website or 2) seems suspicious or 3) contains profanity or marketing terms of any kind, your registration will be deleted and added to the ban settings.

*if your registration email is banned or your registration is deleted, and you feel it should not have been, please email me and let me know why.

*i am taking "best guesses" on validating people who register. a bad person here or there may slide in. just let me know and i will delete the person and the post.

p.s. if you do not receive a validation email within 72 hours, please check your spam box first! if it is not there, try logging in. if you still cannot get in, email me: support%lightning-strike.com (replace % with @) using the email account you registered with, along with your registration name, and i will look into the issue ASAP. thanks.

unfortunately, emails from google mail (also known as gmail.com) and yahoo.co.uk have also been blocked due to abuse. please use your ISP's email address to register. any information you provide at this site stays at this site.
