I am sorry that so much has gone on in the last few days. Were you able to read any of the post that were taken off from the site. There were some pretty nasty remaks made to the people, to me, and to my husband. I have copies of the posts that were made, none of them were pretty. One of them ended like this:

QUOTE
P.S.-Clair, there's a product called Hooked on Phonics, you might want to check it out...

Now that is not nice to say to someone, nor does it have anything to do with grieving.
Thanks, Ann

Snookie had cushing's disease, and later developed diabetes. Both had cancer, Snookie had cancer of the liver, and Chili Bean had cancer of the pallet. Chili Bean was our son's chihuahua but we kept her often throughout her life and she stayed with us for the last 9 months of her life. Chili Bean also had asthma and heart failure. We will see you in Heaven my precious darlings.

LS, the post that Ann is referring to is what made me use the term "trolling". That was simply uncalled for. There was no need to degrade Clair like that.

Pitiful. Why anyone would feel it necessary to so plainly and needlessly attack another is... well, it's beyond me. LS is a garden of emotional and spiritual healing, not a public forum to spew your brand of hate. But let's not aggrandize this event, people - there are more important things to stay focused on beside the slanderous tongue of one person. Please do try to keep in mind, though, that this person, this poster, is probably in a very hurtful and spiritually dark place in their own hearts right now; I think their actions and token comments reflect at least that if nothing else. Try to be kind and forgiving, for to do that is to honor the memory of our beloved babies in a good and pure way.

We need to move on from this. We need to forget these past few days, hellish though they've been. We all love each other here, in one way or another, and it is only by merit of that sense of love and compassion that I personally have returned here faithfully day after day. There is no reason or call for this.

i believe it is more of a pent-up issue that started stirring a couple of months ago. it was regarding post counts and reply counts and some members' perceptions of others monopolizing the board resources. it had settled down but really was never resolved completely, and did result in the site rules and etiquette do%%ent.

keep in mind that it is really not about post replies vs. post views, we are not in a contest here for most posts made or answered. in places like this, there are always posters who are more active, and they will tend to receive the most responses in return. there are also people who view every post daily, but never post (hence the higher views vs. replies numbers).

we all have to be respective of how people participate here, make effort to not monopolize the board, and be as supportive as our individual time allows. beyond that, respect and compassion are the rules of the day.
