This is a fabulous article I came across, which I think everybody who's lost a furbaby and especially those who haven't, or who minimize such loss, ought to read.

That was indeed a fantastic article. The Pet's Prayer at the end of it has me blubbering like a baby...

Kim, the Pets prayer is so touching. I had a plaque with it on many years ago and have not been able to find it so glad to see it again.

I just read the article and poem. Such Truth!!! I'm going to give the link to my counselor, she is an animal lover like myself, and I know she will appreciate it and it may help her with some clients.
The poem has me crying many tears, but that is how we get our sadness out. Thanks for sharing. Michelle -------------------- Our beloved Cosmo came to us in June 1995, and died on May 24, 2005.
Our beloved Beaner came to us in April 1992, and died on June 18, 2006. Our beloved Creep came to us in October 1997, and died on May 22, 2004. All our babies are loved and sorely missed. |
