Although they can never replace my Kurby, these girls (JRT's) have made me smile and have already pawed their way into my hearts. We got "Chloe Belle" 2 wks before Kurby was killed and we were stumped between her and her sister when we went to look at them. We eventually made our choice and took Chloe Belle home.
Once Kurby was killed, it didn't take us but a week to make the decision to go back and get Chloe's sister. We have named her "Chance" because we've given her a second chance. Chloe only knew Kurby for 2 wks but she had gotten attached to him and she missed him. Now she has her sister back and the two play so well together. Chloe Belle is in the red collar and Chance is in the blue collar. (P.S. They were playing hide and seek in this pic and Chloe Belle was hiding under the bed. She eventually jumped out after Chance when she walked by.)

You have many years of pure delight in front of you.
They are two gorgeous for words, remind me of when Jude and Sadie were puppies but black ones. Have a puppy cuddle for me with lots of puppy kisses. Love Sue -------------------- Jude & Sadie, too well loved to be forgotten

I'm so happy for you! And the picture is great! They look like they will be happy together for quite some time.
I too, even though it has only been a week, am thinking about getting another dog. But the thought makes me sad and guilty, but I really think our other dog is very lonely - he's never been without another dog. Kasey was like his mother/father/brother all in one. He could never be replaced, but I know I can find it in my heart to love another dog, maybe just not the way I loved Kasey, just different. I don't want Murphy to be sad and run away looking for another home with a dog. I won't make the decesion now, it's just too soon. But hopefully one day in the near future, I can seriously think about it without feeling guilty about it. |

Getting a new dog is a VERY personal decision and not right for everybody. When my Freddy passed, I was shocked at how open my heart was--I consider this a gift from my Most Precious Angel Freddy. The two new dogs we adopted (both rescues we nursed back to health) have flooded my hear with joy and helped haal us. And, Freddy's surving "brother" needed companionship desperately. I know Freddy and Tillie would be happy for us.
Good for you! best of Luck! Jennifer & Angel Freddy |

Tillie,
Your new baby is adorable! Already knows how to pose for pics! Today marked the 4th week anniversary of my Kurby getting killed. I had a little breakdown at work but when I came home and my girls met me with kisses, it helped. They'll never be "my Kurby" but they sure do have alot of love to give me and help me thru this right now! I must admit that I can see alot of Kurby's actions in Chance. My husband and I laugh and say "Kurby's spirit has come back in Chance." She does things just like Kurby would do. Makes ya wonder, you know? Here's a newer pic of the two. Tanya "Kurbysma"

Too cute!
They remind me of my new babies, George and Ringo, who also play 'hide and seek' together. Much love to you and your new ones, Brandy, Soshi, George, and Ringo |

Here's a new pics of the girls. They are so loving....always happy to see me and they shower me with kisses. And man, they are a bundle of energy!!!!
The dog on the left is their sister (litter mate) and my sister in law bought her. My father in law calls them "The Lone Oak Bandits" because we live on a road called "Lone Oak."

They are adorable really they are. As I type this my little guy Henry has found a new place to sleep I am in my recliner have a lap top on my lap and he has decided the last few days to perch himself on my shoulders. No matter how much we grieve our soul mate pets it is impossible NOT to get attached to the new ones in our lives believe me I have tried to keep a distance to no avil. Enjoy them. Tillies mom |

Oh my gosh, all of those pups are absolutely adorable! I just sit here at work smiling looking at those photos. What a blessing it is that you have new ones in your life bringing you a new kind of joy.
I keep thinking of getting new kittens but I feel I should let my Fluffy enjoy her golden years with us alone (she's 14). She's finally getting all the attention, food and litter box all to herself! Keep posting those pics as even though I'm still mourning my beloved Rocky they are putting a smile on my face. Here is my Fluffy:

Phinny,
Thank you! They're "my girls" and they are sooo sweet. I am so glad we went back and got Chance. They run and play so well together. They sleep together and want to be around each other all the time. Your babies sure are cute! Fluffy sure doesn't look 14! She has a very pretty coat. Your black and white baby (Is that Rocky?) is very pretty as well. My son wants a cat and we are looking for a kitten for him. Kim, Your baby (in the pic) is beautiful as well! Very pretty dog. I had big dogs growing up (dobermans and rottie's) and I said when I got out on my own, I was getting a "lap dog" as I loved yorkies. Well, Kurby was my "lap dog" and yes, I loved to kiss his little nose. I would take my hands and rub his hair back around his little face and kiss his little nose. He was precious when he was a puppy. And he loved his mama! Everyone that met him, loved him. Tanya "kurbysma"

I just wanted to say that everyone's furries are adorable. And Kurbysma, I especially love the markings on Chance. I don't think I've ever seen a Jack Russel that only had brown on the ear tips before. And the two of them together look like quite a pair.

Megan,
They SURE are a pair!!!! The breeder said every now and then, a solid white JRT will be born and they sell for a WHOLE lot more $. Chance has a small brown and black area beside her left eye also. The rest of her is solid white. I'm attaching a pic of her kissing on my husband.....
