What can I say? On August 19 at 1:30 PM I walked past our bedroom and saw Shorty, our 15 year old male tabby, lying sideways on our bed quietly. But he was breathing in slow long breaths and opening his mouth. Just early in the morning he greeted me as I staggered to the kitchen to make my coffee.
