Has he ever! That takes me back. He did it to me not once, but twice. But not on that side. The other side where the neighbor's balcony is only about 4 feet away. I think you know where I'm going with this. Yes, I had to straddle both balconies to retrieve him Scared the heck out of me. These incidents were preceded by him finagling his way past the bars to the lip that sticks out about 5-6 inches.
And THAT is where he got his moniker of "The Amazing Flying Tang" (he does not do it anymore since I started watching him like a hawk) -------------------- Nature's first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay. |

Ah! I was wondering why he is called the "Amazing Flying Tang"!
Cats do the strangest things. I'm so glad that you were able to retrieve him and that he didn't get hurt. My balcony is different. The gap is much less and there is no way that either Mindy or Shelley could squeeze through, but they may be able to squeeze through the bars if they tried. Thankfully, none of them have shown an inclination to jump down below. -------------------- Danny: March 4, 2001 - December 28, 2011

Hi, Tracy, adding my "great job" congratulations to DannysMom's and thanks for sharing this video of your precious Tang. I'm glad you keep a close watch on him when he's on the balcony because he sure looks in this video like he's doing some serious thinking "now how can I make it from here to there?"
I still remember your "rescues" as your precious Tang did his feats of aerial "daring do" in his younger years. Thanks again so much for sharing your precious Theresa and little Tang with us, Tracy, and hope today is treating you and your precious companions kindly. Some more from today. I tried to get Theresa and the balcony, but she wasn't having any of that.

Hi Tracy,
I enjoyed the videos. Thank you for sharing them. Tang looked mighty interested in something down there. I regret not taking videos of Mickey, but I always concentrated on getting lots of still photos. I'm not sure if I could watch now, might be too sad for me. But I look at the photos all the time. I hope you and furbabies have a cozy evening and a good week...God Bless.. LMM -------------------- "Love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation." |

You are quite welcome LMM, and thank you for stopping by to share.
I wish I had a camera when Sir Thomas was with me. But I have to settle for the one paper and one digital picture I have of him - and my memories. I hope you, hubby and the kitties are well. TTT -------------------- Nature's first green is gold

Hi, Tracy, cloudy, sometimes rainy Monday greetings to you and your precious Theresa and little Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.
Thank you so much for the wonderful videos of your precious companions. Miss Theresa is so pretty, and your little Tang is a real handsome fellow - - and quite a character. I'm so chuckling at his racing inside from the balcony when he realized you were "paparizzing" him. It is always a blessing sharing your precious companions, Tracy. I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly. Hi, Tracy, thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video of your precious Theresa thoroughly enjoying the sunbeams on the deck, and this wonderful picture of your precious little Tang enjoying his home. They are so blessed to have you for their Forever Dad, and I know you feel so blessed to have their eternal love and devotion.

Hi Tracy,
Princess Theresa looks so happy and contented in the video. And Lt. Tang looks so cozy like he didn't quite make it to the out side. Thank you for sharing your precious furbabies with us. I always enjoy seeing them....God Bless.. LMM -------------------- "Love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation." |

HI LMM
Oh, Tang went outside, but he is not as "hard core" about being out as Theresa - at least since I had to clip his wings -------------------- Nature's first green is gold
