Yesterday I cried because you werent here , but these days thats a rarity .... now I smile remembering how much you enjoyed life , a tennis ball was the best thing on the planet , until you found a stick , then that was the best thing , until you found some leaves to roll in ... everything was fun to you , and through you, to me as well

I loved watching you when you knew your Dad was home , your whole body would shake with pure pent in happiness , just waiting to explode in a dance of kisses and hugs , You showed me how it should be when you see a loved one you hadnt seen for all of 5 minutes , lol

The night after you left I saw a double rainbow , my first ever , since then i've seen lots of double rainbows , its like you are keeping watch over us ... just remember to have fun playing up there sweet Ambereyes , To you it will only seem like a blink of an eye before we are all together again

Until then, we miss you , we love you

Wow. As I approach the first anniversary of losing my little Bitsy, I have wondered how to express my grief, my loss, but at the same time my joy for having loved such a wonderful little friend and companion. You expressed ever so well, and show what it is that makes us love our dogs so much. No matter the situation, they are always so happy to see us, even if it has been only five minutes! Would that us "intelligent" humans would be so happy to see each other every time we meet! I believe that God provided us with pets to complete a part of us that is incomplete in our souls, the ability to truly love unconditionally! thank you for such a beautiful tribute to Buddy!
