More holistic &/or integrative vets for your consideration:

This first one is one that one of my Animal Communicators mentioned in one of her newsletters (and she did a "talk" with her on her education series as well). First, here is a comment I found on her (and her partner's) care at their clinic in Utah, from "The Best of Utah 2009 Ballot" online.

"I couldn't find a spot to nominate the best holistic vet in town. Dr. Kim Henneman and Dr. Debbie Hadlock at Animal Health Options in Park City are AWESOME! They totally saved my dog after years of being bounced around from this drug to that drug for ever worsening skin problems. With just some diet changes (NO Science Diet or Iams - lots of healthy table scraps), Chinese herbs and homeopathy, my dog is almost back to where she was 3 yrs ago. And their totally Feng Shui'ed office makes me and Zeva stay and hang out all day. What category would they be in or do I write my own next year?"

Dr. Henneman is also mentioned on this OTHER holistic vet's site, as someone else she received part of her OWN training from:
Vitality Pet Care, with Dr. Pam

At this point I would also like to point out that if you visit Dr. Pam's website and take a good look at her extensive training to date, you should be able to see that all the various modalities and alternative ways of dealing with and treating ill health are right in line with what I've, myself, been yammering about here for a long time already.

Another excellent resource list I discovered is from Dr. Pitcairn's holistic vet. referrals list, for vets. who've taken his advanced training, and covering some vets in both Canada and the U.S..

Good to know, I wish there were more holistic vets in north america in general. The problem is of coarse, they charge so much. They are vampires when it comes to getting money, profiting off of the animals pain. They charge way more than conventional vets. I only do holistic for my fur kids, boy does that leave an empty pocketbook

hesista, just thought you might want to know your Private Messenger setting hasn't been turned on (by you) yet, so members can't "talk" to you other than on the board. I was trying to send you a little "thank you" note, but it can't go through until/unless you go to your Controls and set it up to receive &/or send. Anyway, "thanks" for commenting. smile.gif

And yes, many holistic vets are too $$, but not all of them (you might want to check out Dr. Anna Maria Gardner, if you're in N.Amer.; she's more than reasonable for price & works via phone or email...if she has room for more clients; I'm not sure), so we just have to do our research, as with any other service or goods providers - challenging, I know. There are, however, more and more vets all the time who are turning to more natural ways of treating their patients, especially in the U.S.. (and sometimes it's not even a just a VET who can help the most, but other so-called "complimentary" health and well-being providers....the New Wave of this rapidly, consciously evolving world, giving us all LOTS of choice, sometimes almost too much! wink.gif )
