Hi Everyone,

I am trying to find ways to cope with the disappearance of my baby Mokey. He was a two year old, neutered male, indoor/outdoor cat. I went camping memorial day weekend and when I came home he was gone. He was born feral next door and I rescued him at 5 weeks. I found homes for all his brothers and sisters but kept Mokey and basically have been his human mom ever since. He only likes me and other cats and doesn't like other humans. I bought traps, put up flyers, talked to all my neighbors, searched yards etc. My second week I contacted two animal communicators but the information was not helpful as it was very vague and didn't narrow down his location. At this point I was out about $350 and running out of money to spend trying to find him. I found one other animal communicator and gave them a try...they were amazing!

It is a husband and wife team and their information gave me the exact location of where my cat was. I flyered that area and got a lot of calls and people that thought they had seen him. But that wasn't the amazing part about these AC's. They were gentle and truly cared about me and what I was going through. They communicate with animals on a deeper level than the other two people I used. They said that Mokey had abandonment issues and thought I left him. He went looking for his mother and his brother and sisters. He had been a little depressed the months before and had been staring out the window a lot so I could see the possibility of this motivation. They asked me if I had a picture of his mother which oddly enough I snapped one of her that wasn't very clear. They said that they were going to do a session for free between her and Mokey as a promise to Mokey if they could connect with her. The next day they sent me a long email describing the session and that Mokey's mom had passed. It was a very touching email and it ended with them thinking that Mokey would be on his way home. I waited another week and no Mokey so we contacted him again. Now he was even further from home having a blast! He was meeting every cat he could find and inquiring about his family. At the end of each conversation Mokey told me how much he loved me and gave me information that only he could know so my confidence that I was making contact with him is very high. The new location checked out and I flyered that neighborhood and many people had seen him too. Another week and same thing he is still gone. I am going to do a fourth session today to find out if he's closer to heading home.

So my "lost" kitty isn't really lost. There is a large feral population where I live and plenty of food sources so he's doing just fine. I am still heartbroken. I stopped trapping because I was trapping all the cats in the neighborhood and getting no sleep. I truly believe that Mokey is on his own adventure that is very important to him. I miss him so much and cry every day still. I have never been so connected to an animal and I have had pets my whole life. He was my child in my eyes and dealing with a missing child is very, very hard. I will keep you all posted as to what happens in the session today and if anyone wants info about these incredible people that are holding my hand through this I will gladly give you their info smile.gif.

Very Truly Yours,

Laura and Mokey
