This made me smile.gif because Tang sounds like a bird of prey when he meows wanting attention.

Nature's first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Too cute! biggrin.gif That looks like one of our strays, especially when he sees me looking through the window.

Tracy, thanks for the laugh today.

Any time LoveMyMickey

Looking at it today, and your mentioning your strays, it made me think about the strays in my area when it gets this cold. I feel so bad for them hoping they can find someplace warm. I still put out food for them every night regardless of the weather. Stay warm.

Hi Tracy,

That is very kind of you to put out food for the strays. We haven't seen Blackie recently, but I have seen at least six different cats at different times. The food is cleaned up every night. We put out some dry in the morning also, and at least one cat eats after we close the door. One evening I saw a cat growling very low at a raccoon. The raccoon finally backed off and went in the den/bed we made for them. He kept looking out until the cat left. I still make that goulash mixture and it goes first at night. I don't know how they survive in this cold, but I guess it's their nature, but I do feel bad for them.

Give the furbabies a special pat for me and stay warm...

Thanks LoveMyMickey

If nothing else, I hope God smiles upon me doing what little I can for the poor little waifs. You too are most kind in your endeavors to help your locals. That must be one tough cat to back down a raccoon; or just desperate and hungry.
