I am so heartbroken and cannot write too much right now, but Pixie has joined my Angels . She was fine one day and gone the next, with heart failure. We rescued her just over 3 years ago when she was about 1 year old. She has been the most wonderful, loyal and beautiful friend that anyone could wish for.
Darling Pixie I love you always and forever. I'm sure darling Tasha and Noushka will be looking after you now.
God bless my darlings.

Hi, Jan, please permit me to add my sincerest sympathies in the physical loss of your beloved Pixie. My heart is aching with yours - - losing the sweet precious physical presence of our beloved companions is never easy regardless of the circumstances or how long we are blessed with the privilege of their company.

I know from first hand experience during the deep grief there are no adequate words in any language that can soothe the seering pain of sorrow that is in your heart. I can only hope and pray that the words I share with you will be able to offer you some measure of comfort, support, encouragement, and hope as you travel your grief adjustment journey. Please know we are here for you for as long and as often as you need us.

Thank you so very much for sharing your beloved Pixie with us, Jan. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I look forward to knowing how you're doing.

Peace and blessings,
moon_beam

Hi, Jan, I know I wrote to you on Facebook, but just wanted to stop by here to say once again that I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even begin to imagine how much shock you must be in right now, with her being taken so suddenly. I am still in shock myself from the news. I'm sorry that you have to go through this grief journey rollercoaster again, but I hope you find some comfort in the knowledge that your 3 beautiful angel girls are watching over you.

Big hugs, Cheryl xx

Thankyou all so much my dear friends. Your words and support mean so much. We actually managed to get some sleep last night, I'm sure my Angels were lullabying us along as I seemed to feel a calmness after all the crying of the last day or so since Pixie left us.
Love to you all. I will post more about Pixie darling, soon.

Jan and my Angels xx

Thank you so much LoveMyMickey for your kind words.
I did sleep a little last night, but this morning I woke up very early and the feeling is so unbearable. Pixie always sat at my side by the computer, just as Tasha and Noushka did. There's such an emptiness as my dear friend Anna (who I met on this forum a few years back) said to me, a big hole in my heart and my home. I know everyone on here knows that horrible feeling.
I send my love and hugs to everyone here who is going through the same dreadful loss right now.
I will try and write some replies to you all when I can.

My Pixie, I love you so much, and can't believe that you were taken so suddenly and in your prime. Such a young, beautiful, wonderful girl. You never showed any signs that there was anything wrong with your darling precious heart. I just think you gave out so much love that it just must have worn itself out. I am sure that my Angels will have found you. When I close my eyes I can see the three of you together. This is such a comfort to me, the fact that your faces come to me so quickly when I close my eyes and think of you.
LOve you all my darlings, always and forever. xx

Dear Jan, husband and family,

OMG! I am so, so very, very sorry. It was 3 years ago when I first came on this site. And it seems like just yesterday that you had gotten Pixie and were telling me, and others, how sweet, loving, loyal and comforting it was to have Pixie. This is way too much for someone to have to bear. Way, way too soon for her to have left you. I'm hoping that when she went, it was quick and that there was no lingering pain.

My heart goes out to you. I wish I could just come over and sit with you. Please hang in there. I have tears now, just thinking about the shock you went thru, and the grief you are still living...it's way to much after what you had already been through. Thinking good thoughts for you, and Pixie's soul.

With affection
Dennis

Thankyou so much Dear Dennis for those kind words. They mean such a lot.
I'm still in shock and just can't believe that our darling Pixie had to go so suddenly. For just over 3 years Pixie brought us so much love and opened our hearts again, proved that even though our hearts are broken, they are still capable of love. That love for her and all my beloved angels never leaves us, our hearts hold that love forever.
Thanks again Dennis.
Please stay in touch.
Hugs Jan x

Oh gosh, I am so sorry you lost your beautiful Pixie. I lost my Samantha (Eskie) on May 7, 2013 to an aggressive fungal lung cancer. So we are going through the same emotions. It is so difficult to lose those beautiful babies. They are a one of a kind furry child. They are so intelligent, loyal, and highly loving. I feel so badly for you, that I am crying. It's so hard. I miss those Eskie smiles as I am sure you do. I miss those Eskie kisses. They are amazing furry kids. I have a new baby Eskie (10-weeks old). I am glad I got her which was June 1, 2013. She helps me get through my rough times of when I think of Samantha and feel the emptiness. Eskie's certainly do have a great deal of personality. Their loyalty is amazing. They are at our sides every minute in good times and in bad. Samantha was also a rescue like your Pixie. She came from severe abuse and neglect. I adopted her when she was 8-months old and she passed on at age 10. When I adopted her I held her, kissed her, and told her that no one was going to ever hurt her again. I then set out to give Samantha the best of everything. Just know that you gave Pixie a good life, she is grateful to you for it, and she loves you with all her heart.
I commend you for saving Pixie. People do not realize what wonderful furry babies Eskie's are. I often wonder how people can just dump off an Eskie somewhere and forget about them. I could never turn my back on an Eskie or any dog for that matter. I am more partial to Eskies.
Just know I am thinking of you. Samantha, Pixie, Tasha, and Noushka are playing at the bridge and sharing their stories with each other. They are smiling, running, and playing. They are no longer suffering from illness. They are all looking down at us. I do think their spirits are with us everyday and everywhere we go they are with us. Before Samantha passed on I told her, "This isn't goodbye baby. I will be seeing you later". Someday you will see your furry babies again and it will be a joyous reunion for you all.
Cry whenever you need to. Let it all out when you need to.

Sue

Thankyou dear Moonbeam and Sue for your very comforting words.

Today it's 4 weeks since beloved Pixie , so suddenly left us. I still can't really believe this had happened. I keep expecting to see her looking out of the window as we pull into the driveway, as she always did, and then that wonderful welcome home.... not that we left her on her own for long. I'm trying to think of all the wonderful ways my life was enriched by her sharing her precious few years with us, and this is what keeps me going. All that love, I can never lose that, but oooh I just miss her physical presence so much. I know everyone on here understands just what I mean.

Dear Sue, you have just suffered losing your darling Samantha too. What a beautiful girl. Reminds me so much of my Tasha and Noushka. Pixie had a bit of Samoyed in her we believe, but most probably Akita Inu. All of them the most darling, wonderful girls. I hope that you are finding some peace and hopefully we will be able to smile more when we think of our fur babies, instead of that dreadful, hole in the chest feeling.
Darling Pixie, I do hope that you are with our darlings, Tasha and Noushka. I'm sure they directed us to each other those 3 years ago.Love you so much my sweethearts.

Thanks again everyone for helping me. I send my thoughts and prayers to everyone who is suffering the loss of a beloved fur baby .

Love
Jan and my Angels, Tasha, Noushka and Pixie xx

Hi, Jan, thank you so much for sharing with us how you're doing. During the deep grief it is amazing how time continues to march forward - - one minute at a time flowing into one day at a time then one week at a time to the point when we stop to take notice that a month has passed since our beloved companions joined the angels - - and we wonder how we have made it this far. All the things that brought us such joy when they are physically with us are painful memories as we endure the "milestones" of every minute of every hour of every day of the deep grief adjustment journey until one day we feel our hearts smiling once again when we think of them - - the indelible print they made on our lives during their earthly journey with us and the warmth of the eternal love bond we always share with them.

I hope today is treating you kindly, Jan, and that you will have a very peaceful evening blessed with your beloved Pixie's, all of your beloved angels', sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. Please know you and all your family are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I look forward to knowing how you're doing.

Peace and blessings,
moon_beam
