All very familiar territory. The author put a lot of thought into the article. It seems to cover anything that could be asked or at least the majority of questions.

The statements about feelings are so very true. It is the thoughts and feelings that overwhelm us. And so many of us who have losses have the same thoughts and feelings and many questions.

It bears rereading and is a lot to absorb. Thank you for posting it.

It's obvious this author completely knew all about the deep love that can be shared with a beloved pet. Over the last 7 months I have been amazed by the stories others have told me about their experiences of grief and loss of their furkids. It seems most everywhere I go, especially if I have one of my furrykids with me, at least one person has something to share about the love of their life.

I never thought I was crazy.......not for one minute......when I grieved so deep and felt hopeless in life. From the day I met Goliath, I knew from then on that he was what I loved most in my life. He was and is my inspiration of peace and love and I never have been ashamed or questioned it with anybody.

Thanks for bringing such an insightful article of understanding.
