Oh, my beautiful little Hermy! It’s been exactly THREE years since you left us for Heaven. How I miss you every single day!

You are always in my thoughts and prayers, my little bun. We all miss you tremendously. Harry, your hus-bun, and Albus, your brother, would like me to tell you that they miss you and love you so much.

I miss your furry kisses, Hermy. I miss waking up in the middle of the night to find you sitting on my pillow next to my head, busily licking my nose and forehead. I miss seeing you when I come home. I miss everything about you, Hermy.

Heavenly birthdays are always tinged with sadness as we remember the fun and furry days with our furbabies and how much we wish they could have lasted forever. What a great bunny Hermie must be! I remember how much my sister Trevors's Mom loved him and how she asked Trevor to welcome Hermie the Bunny into the Perfect World. I know they are playing together, happy and healthy and that one day Hermie wiill be wiggling as hard as he can when he sees you coming to join him, never to be separated again.

Dear Hermie's mommie,

Thank you for your kind words of condolence. Yes, the world lost a great person when Bobbie left here and went home. I also lost my father on August 1, so it's been a very hard year for me. Hermie the Bunny was one of Bobbie's favorite furbabies and, like you, I just KNOW he is hip=hopping around up there with her in the Perfect World. All of Bobbie's and my dogs will be there to welcome you when you get there and I hope Hermie the Bunny will be in my welcoming committee. Bunnies must be SOOOOOOO soft. I can hardly imagine it.

Dear Gretta and Rufus's mom,

Oh my goodness! You are having a very difficult year. I am so very sorry. Losing family members, including our furry family members, is one of the most painful challenges we face in life, I think. I am forever grateful to you, Bobbie, Trevor, and all the other wonderful folks on this forum. I honestly would not have made it through those very trying times without your wonderful sister and her wonderful, brave Trevor. It is so comforting to know that one day we will all be together again. I truly believe that. Bobbie and your father, Gretta and Rufus, Trevor and Hermy, are indeed our welcoming committee! There will be warm hugs all around!

Please know that I am thinking of you and will say a prayer tonight for everyone.

Thank you for the kind thoughts, Hermie's mommie. And I too would never have made it through the losses of the past few years. The people here really care and they take the time to communicate and share each other's pain. Some days it's all we can do to breathe and put one foot in front of the other.!

What a delight a bunny must be! The softest thing on earth. Hip-hopping around! How their little noses move when they are eating! Every furbaby is a gift from God and surely we will see them again and be together never to be parted.

Did you hear the good news? The pope - THE POPE - told a grieving child something that we've known all along and had clergy look down their noses at us - WE WILL SEE ALL OUR ANIMALS IN HEAVEN.

I can't wait to see Hermie the Bunny and, since heaven is forever, maybe I can "borrow" the little softie and
hold him on my lap for whole days at a time.

Good morning Hermie the Bunny

Did you know that the Good Shepherd created bunnies to make people smile? How could we not? Everything about you bunnies is so lovable. Your fur is SOOOOOO soft it has a special name down here on earth - angora. And let me tell you it only looks perfect on a bunny - NOT sweaters, scarves and all the other things some not so nice people here on earth try to make out of it. Your floppy ears that cradle our hands when we hold you. Your little noses that never stop twitching. And you know you are just the perfect size to hold on our laps - so warm and comforting. Your mommie say you even use your little tongue to lick things - like her nose to wake her up!

Bunnies are so special they have their own holiday down here on earth. It's called Easter. The night before Easter, children leave little gifts for the Easter Bunny and the during the night, this bunny visits the children who have left gifts for him - and even those who have just heard about him - a basket filled with paper grass and full of candy like eggs and other little surprises on the grass. The whole world loves the bunny and so does your mommie, Trevor's mommie and me.

Hi Hermie the Bunny

Someday I will be able to hold you and pet your soft bunny fur. I didn't get a chance to meet you on earth, but I know we will meet in the Perfect World. I know you mom loves you SO much. How could she not love a sweet bunny like you? I suppose you know that on earth here we have a special holiday devoted to bunnies ... well, it's really about the Good Shepherd and how He came to earth and was killed but He rose again and saved all of us. That's why there IS a Perfect World. But even people who don't understand the real meaning of this holiday know the old old story of the Easter Bunny, who goes all over the world in the night before this holiday (it's always on a Sunday) and brings baskets with decorated eggs and lots of candy eggs and chocolate bunnies to all the children on earth, And you know something else? There's no mention of the children being good or bad - like there is on Christmas. Every child gets a gift from the Easter Bunny on that day. Bunnies are SOOOOOO special.

Just saying hi and "I love you". Bunnies are the perfect anim[size="4"][/size]als. They're soft. They are just the right size to fit on your lap. Just looking at them make you smile. Thank your mom for introducing me to you. I know by now that you know all my crew and all Trevor's mom's crew. Isn't the dad great? He pretends he doesn't like animals and then turns out to be the one that loves them most. I have a picture of two bunnies pasted up on my kitchen cabinet. Ii smile whenever I look at it. I know you and your brother Albus are together forever now, but I miss you both more than I can say. Your hus-bun Harry is still hanging on here, but he is suffering through some medical issues now--sludgy bladder, pneumonia, dental problems. He misses you so much!

I miss holding you, Hermy. I miss kissing your little nose. I miss your incredible hops and joyful jumps. I miss YOU, my baby bun.

Dear Hermy's mommy

Thank you so much for the post on Rufus's page. Yes, every heart-animal enlarges our heart and puts a permanent smile on our faces. And when they go to the Perfect World and we can't see them or hold them, they take a piece of our hearts with them. By the time we animal lovers get there our hearts look like swiss cheese but we recognize each other and the animals we loved and who loved us.
