I'm afraid my 13 old month black and white tabby, Rodney, is missing.
Here's the story, copied off another forum... I've had a cat for about 10 or 11 months now, since it was about 8 weeks old. Until about 2 or 3 months ago, it never seemed interested in going outside, so I didn't bother letting it out. But around June/July time, it started to go outside. As I don't have a cat flap (I just leave the conservatory doors open), it doesn't stay out at night. Normally when it goes out, it'll be back in within a couple of hours. But on Saturday, it went missing. I went out this morning, and left the conservatory doors open, as my brother was still here. But, I come back about 1 o clock ish, and the conservatory doors are shut. God knows why he shut them, but he did. So, the cat couldn't get back in. I haven't seen it since. It obviously hasn't been fed since 8 am this morning, so must be starving. The only thing I can think of is that it's got eaten by a dog or something. There are quite a few dogs around here, but it's never been a big problem. It's now going to be out all night (and it's bloody cold!) if it's still alive. What should I do? Start panicking or just wait? It's still missing. I've printed off a few fliers and will put them around tomorrow.
