As long as you are kind and there is love in your heart,
A thousand hands will naturally come to your aid.

As long as you are kind and there is love in your heart,
You will reach out with a thousand hands to help others.

The Dance of a Thousand Hands which looks so much like Wings!
Please turn up your volume and click on the Photograph.

Dear Dottie

Thankyou so much for inviting us all to share in Dear Angel Alex's Special Virtual Funeral. I am here with all my Angels, sending love and prayers. Alex will be very proud of this wonderful tribute. It is beautiful, Dottie. I am scattering Rose petals for my girls today , and I will scatter some for Alex. I will light a special candle for him tonight.

I do hope that Styx Kitty improves again, I know he will be having the best of care and lots of love.

Thank you so much, Jan!!! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif Alex saw the candle you lit and smelled the beautiful fragrance from the Rose petals that you scattered along with your precious Angel Fur Kids. He sends you Oceans of Love and I do, too! Also, that's one of Alex's mostest bestest favorite pictures: Birds in God's Hands. Many Birdie Kisses from Angel Alex Feather Kid to You!

And now, Alex wishes to watch some Ballet. Of course, it has to be Swan Lake. But, not like any Swan Lake performance you've ever seen! My brother Tony emailed the larger screen version to me a few weeks ago, but I'm not able to locate it straight away. When I do, then I'll edit out this video (which is the same exact performance) and put in the larger one. Without further adieu, Alex presents Swan Lake Ballet acrobatic style. It is amazing!!!

First, the frogs must make their entrance.

Please Turn up Your Volume and Click on the Photo Below.

Take a look at this. Incredible!

Exit the frogs stage left.

The next performance will be "Wizards in Winter" performed by the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Their music is so very awesome and their lighting effects are absolutely ... Wow!!! Thank you to everyone who's stopped by. Alex and I hope you're having a Most Magnificent Magical Marvelous Merry time viewing. Blessings of Love and Light to All!!!

Thank you, Sandy. Next: Wizards in Winter performed by Trans Siberian Orchestra.

CAUTION: If very bright, flashing lights such as those from strobe lights cause you to have a seizure, there are about five to seven times when you will need to cover your eyes and look away from your PC screen. I'm one of those people. So, when Alex sat on my right shoulder enjoying this video, I would always close my eyes, cover them and look away from my PC.

Please exercise the same caution in order to avoid a petit mal or other kinds of seizures that these types of flashing lights can cause you. Thanks so much!

This presentation will knock your socks off. What an awesome performance indeed!

Please turn up your volume and click on the link below the glittering image that I enhanced.

Wow! That was Spectacular! Hope everyone enjoyed. smile.gif

Many Blessings of Love and Light to All and Your Special Angels!!! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

Thank you so much, Madi. {{{{{Lotsa Birdie Hugs and Kisses}}}}} Thank you for your prayers. And, I'm weeping with utter Joy when you said that you will always remember him. You see, that's what I hope, wish and pray for with all my heart, soul and being. That people will remember Alex and "tell his story" of who he was, what he was, all he could do ... And so much more ... And so much more ... Then, one person will tell another, and that person will tell someone else, and so forth and so on. That people will be led here to hear all about Alex and what an amazing creature he was ... So very Human. Yes, he had so many human attributes and capabilities indeed!

If I can make his images interesting, beautiful and appealing enough ... Well, as in the movie "Field of Dreams" the voice says: "If you build it, he will come." People the world over will hear about these tributes, images, songs, poems, more ... And, if I build them, they will come. They will want to know more about him so then will read all I've shared about Alex. Then more people will come. When that happens, Alex will be remembered and talked about by hundreds, possibly thousands, maybe millions. As long as I tell "his story" then he will live on forever and ever and ever! See what I mean? I'll bet you do, Madi. smile.gif

Fortunately, I've learned a lot more about creating and enhancing images as the years have passed. And guess what? The programs I use are all free. You should see the photos before and after enhancements. LOL. Like the "Morning Has Broken" images, for example. Amazing what 'LunaPic Online Photo Editor' and 'Free Online Image Editor' can do! It only takes time, practice and patience then anyone can do it ...

Hey, I have got a great idea. Let's all join Alex for a lovely trip on The Peace Train. By the way, see the top image of the color changing, flashing locomotive? Well, what I did was to Google Image Search photos of trains, picked that one, it was just an ordinary photo and then I took it to free 'LunaPic Online Photo Editor' to create what you see. You can choose any colors as well as what speed the colors flash. Alex loved this one best! So, are you ready for a pleasant train ride?

The Peace Train is getting ready to leave the station. ALL ABOARD! Off we go ...

Please Turn up Your Volume and Click on the World's Hands to Heart Peace Image

I hope everyone enjoyed their tour of the countryside in the best seat on The Peace Train.

Alex sure did! biggrin.gif

Many Blessings of Love and Light to All and Your Special Angels!!! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

Always, Dottie xoxoxox

{{{{{MommyluvsuLukas}}}}} Thanks so much!

Oh dear me. This is a catered affair. I'll have to post all the goodies and decorations for everyone to enjoy. We'll want to have Alex's fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains and so forth. But, I want to set out some really neato, delicious and fun foods for the rest of us.

Naturally beverages, too.

Gonna have to get to work on that real soon.

Thank you again so very much, MommyluvsuLukas.

Many Bright Blessings of Love and Light to you and your Angel Fur Kid!!! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

Wow Dottie, This is a truly spectacular Event, befitting of your precious Alex. Just what he deserves.... The Best !!!!
I too absolutely LOVE Cat Stevens and his beautiful songs. Morning Has Broken, is truly one of my favourite songs. The Peace Train is amazing. When I was in my late teens/early twenties and working next door to The Shaftesbury Theatre, London (When HAIR was playing at the very beginning). I used to see Cat Stevens, quite regularly as his father owned a little restaurant/Cafe across the road. His dad did the best Omelettes ever, especially Spanish. I used to eat in there most days and Cat often popped in....... so handsome and very lovely person. His dad was a real sweety........ Oooh memories.
Now dear Alex you gave me another one of your lovely surprises yesterday .. I was in my kitchen when I heard a loud bang and a bird had hit my window... Don't worry folks, the bird was unharmed, but what a bird !!!! I have never, ever seen one like it in our garden. I ran to get my camera, opened my window and it just stood still and looked at me. Even seemed to 'pose' for the camera. Well it was very big and turns out to be a pheasant. A hen pheasant, so not all the bright colours of the male pheasant, but so beautiful. She walked all round my garden and guess where she decided to stand for quite some time, looking at me..... Yes right where I had scattered the rose petals for my Angels and Alex. I did get a few photos and I will upload them later for posting on here. She flew off after about 20 minutes , quite unharmed , thank goodness.
We are in quite a built up area so this is very out of the ordinary..... Angels at work again, I do believe.

Well dear Dottie, I look forward to your next posting on here.
How is dear Styx Kitty doing? I am praying and sending hugs to you all.
Much Love
Jan and my Angels and Pixie
xx

Hi there, Jan! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, but I needed to collect all I wished to share in response. Took me forever. LOL! First of all, that is so cool about how you got to see Cat Stevens so often back then. Awesome!!! I love him and all his songs! Moon Shadow is another of my favorites. And, his dad had a restaurant right there, too? Wow! I sure would have gone as often as I could to enjoy his delicious omelets and hopefully Cat would drop in for a chat and a spot of "Tea for the Tillerman". *Wink* I'd love, love, LOVE for you to share more about those times. You see, I usually live vicariously through the wonderful experiences of others. True. So, please share more when you're able. That would make Alex's festive funeral all the more festive indeed!

As for your bird incident, I sure wish I could have seen the look on your face when she hit the window. Hahaha! Can't wait to see the photos you took. Kewl Beanz! Too bad it was a hen pheasant, so didn't have all the bright colors of the male pheasant ... Which brings us back full circle to when you were in your late teens/early twenties and working next door to The Shaftesbury Theatre, London when HAIR was playing at the very beginning ...

How does that have anything to do with a drab colored female pheasant, you ask? Well, 'I would just like to say that it is my conviction that longer hair and other flamboyant affectations of appearance are nothing more than the male's emergence from his drab camouflage Into the gaudy plumage which is the birthright of his sex. There is a peculiar notion that elegant plumage and fine feathers are not proper for the man. When aaaaaaaaaa-ctually ... That is the way things are in most species.' Here, Peter Marshall explains it much better. Please click below.

Peter Marshall sings "My Conviction"

So true, don't you think? Wonder Robbie thinks so, too. Lookie ...

That is Robbie performing Xanadu. Dontcha love it? Fabulous!!! Say, he's the ...

"Queen of the Night"

This next song won him first place in a competition. It's one of my two favorite Robbie performances. He is terrific! Again, please turn up your volume and click below.

"Poor Unfortunate Souls" from The Littlest Mermaid

Okay, now ya gotta see him perform Xanadu. I'm not certain, but I believe it's his favorite ...

WonderRobbie performs "Xanadu"

See how everything ties in right back to the drab colored female pheasant? Or perhaps it's me and my loose associations again. No, not the people I hang out with, ya nut. tongue.gif

*Yawn!* Sorry, gotta go now cuz ...

"I'm Tired!" laugh.gif

Thanks so very much for everything, Jan. {{{{{}}}}}

Many Blessings of Love and Light to you, your Angels and Pixie! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

Always, Dottie xoxoxox

PS. Do ya think all this red text exhibits enough of my 'elegant plumage'? wink.gif

Oh Dottie
I have to re-apply my mascara now, ha. Laughed so much. Where do you find these clips ? I hope dear Angel Alex is enjoying them, I'm sure he is. It would be great if you can post Cat singing, Moonshadow, I love it too. I watched him do a one off Cat Stevens 'In Concert' a few months back, and he sings even better than in his youth, if that's possible, and he still looks great.
Robbie sure is a character, he reminds me of a young, slimmed down version of our Danny Le Rue. Very flambouyant !
I'm showing my age now.
Please keep posting all these spectacular images, songs and clips Dottie. I will try and upload my Pheasant pics very soon.

Hugs

By Special Request

And, as we await Jan to post her Pheasant Photos.

Please Turn up Your Volume and Click on the Firecat Image Below.

I'm being followed by a Moon Shadow,
Moon Shadow Moon Shadow.
Leaping and hopping on a Moonshadow,
Moon Shadow Moon Shadow.

And if I ever lost my hands,
Lose my plough, lose my land.
Oh, if I ever lose my hands - Oh, if ...
I wont have to work no more.

And if I ever lose my eyes,
If my colours all run dry.
And if I ever lose my eyes - Oh, if ...
I won't have to cry no more.

Yes, I'm being followed by a Moon Shadow,
Moon Shadow Moon Shadow.
Leaping and hopping on a Moonshadow,
Moon Shadow Moon Shadow.

And if I ever lose my legs,
I won't moan and I won't beg.
Oh, if I ever lose my legs - Oh if ...
I won't have to walk no more.

And if I ever lose my mouth,
All my teeth, north and south.
Yes, if I ever lose my mouth - Oh if ...
I won't have to talk ...

Did it take long to find me?
I ask the Faithful Light.
Did it take long to find me?
And are you going to stay the night?

I'm being followed by a Moon Shadow.
Moon Shadow Moon Shadow.
Moon Shadow Moon Shadow.

Moon Shadow Moon Shadow.

Alex Presents "Think of Me"

By Andrew Lloyd Webber from Phantom of the Opera

Please Click on The Kitten who is Thinking of You!

"Think of Me"
by Andrew Lloyd Webber

Think of me.
Think of me fondly,
When we've said good-bye.
Remember me
Once in a while
Please, promise me you'll try.

When you find
That once again you long
To take your heart back and be free,
If you ever find a moment,
Spare a thought for me.

We never said
Our love was evergreen,
Or as unchanging as the sea ...
But, if you can still remember,
Stop and think of me.

Think of all the things
We've shared and seen.
Don't think about the things
Which might have been.

Think of me.
Think of me waking,
Silent and resigned.
Imagine me, trying too hard to
Put you from my mind ...

Recall those days,
Look back on all those times,
Think of the things
We'll never do ...

There will never be a day when
I won't think of you.

Flowers fade,
The fruits of summer fade.
They have their seasons, so do we.
But, please promise me, that sometimes
You will think of me!

Hello, all my friends here at LS! Percy bird decided he wished to contribute to Alex's Festive Funeral so has something to tell you. By the way, he insists his name is Barack Obama and that he's the President of all Birdies here in the US. Well, we can let him have his dream. Also, that is an Indian Ringneck Parrot in the bottom image. Why Percy ... I mean Obama ... Told me AJ is a Redneck Parrot, I'll just never understand. Must be one of them birdie inside jokes. Wait just a moment please. What? Okay, I'm moving away from the computer for you, Percy ... I mean Barack. It's all yours.
