She ran under my horse trailer, I didn't see her. Vet called this morning and said she is stable with 6 fractures in her pelvis. She has feeling in both hind legs and her tail. She can also move them. She cant stand there is nothing to support her. She is a poodle terrier mix we adopted a year ago she is about 1 1/2 yrs old. Surgery would cost over 2 thousand and would offer no gaurantee. We dont have it. He is sending her home today with painmeds and said to keep her still and quite. He doesnt know if she will recover but says its not time to put her down. What can I do for her. Has anyone ever heard of a dog recovering from injuries like this. Please if you pray, pray for pepper. She belongs to my 3 yr old who worships her. Thank you for your time. Lora

Dear (((((Lora))))):

I am very sorry to hear about Pepper's injuries......

I would think that since she has sensation in both hind legs & tail (AND, can move them), is very, very good news.

I truly believe in miracles -- my prayers are with your sweet Pepper & your family at this time.

How has she been since you've been home? Does she appear comfortable with the pain medication?
How are you doing, and how is your little girl handling this??

I watch the veterinary medicine show quite a lot, and I've seen some amazing recoveries...... Our furkids have such strong spirits & wills -- they can overcome a lot!!

Again, my thoughts & prayers are with you.....

Please, keep us updated on Pepper's progress.

God Bless!

Love, Denise

She is young and i would hope that the vet wouldnt send her home if there was no hope.

If you can get hold of crystals Malachite (polished), Apatite, Hematite or Magnesite are reported to be good for broken bones. - try ebay.

Once you get your crystal home run it under the tap to cleanse it and ask it to help pepper to mend and become well.

I will send Reiki healing to her if you dont have any objections.

Lastly if it is not against your religeon ask your local spiritualist church if they could send round a healer or lay your hands on her yourself and ask God to send healing through you to her.

Good luck

Love Sue

I received an e-mail from Pepper's mom, Lora today.

This is a part of her e-mail to me

She is walking around outside and is off her pain meds. I thank God and all those who prayed for her because it truly is a miracle.

If you would like to move the post, it would be appreciated greatly.

WONDERFUL NEWS!!! biggrin.gif

I offered to move her post in early December to this area so that she could receive lots of care & support.

She asked me today to please move her post, and I have done so.

Denise

Pepper is doing so much better! She isnt in pain, that I can tell. She refuses to stay inside and insitsts on going out to the barn with us. My daughter says that it was just an accident and she knows I am sorry! Everyday she tells Pepper to get better and is excited to see that she does get better everyday. It was so upsetting but I am glad the vet suggested we give her the chance to recover. Everyone here said we should put her down, but every time I walked in the room she would wag her tail and just didnt seem ready to give up the fight. Such a big heart in a tiny little body! Thanks to everyone who prayed for us, special thanks to the sweet lady (moderater) who kept in touch with me. Sending you all special Holiday Wishes to you and yours!
