Hi,
With everything that can go on in daily life, we can forget to do something we've been meaning too. The great thing is, at this point, he is all moved in and comfy. We adopted this guy from the "Lonely Hearts Club" room at our shelter. He chose me by climbing into my lap for a nap as I socialized with the other kitties, so I felt he chose me and brought him home. His original name was Frisky, but we call him Huey. I think it is because he looks so dwarf like and young, it just suits him. he has settled in nicely, as you'll see in the pics. There is nothing greater than new love, especially combined with current loves.

Thanks Lori,
I know I put up alot of pics, but I thought it to be so sweet that he's getting on with everyone here. My H is great at doing a collage sort of thing, but I'm not so good at it. Besides, smaller pics take away from the reality of them at times. He is still a bit distant at times, but I have no idea what he may have gone through before arriving at the shelter. Hopefully, his trust will keep increasing, and his bad memories will fade. I'll certainly do all I can to see that he gets happier every day. Peace. Love, and Prayers, Michelle This collage is of 3 of my lost babies. There have been more losses, but I haven't had my H do a new one.

This collage ( also outdated, as Beaner passed away in June this year).
It shows what our babies look like when they are awake. By the way, our female dogs are Mom, Coco, and daughter, Sage.

OMG, Michelle! They're AAAALLLL so cute, both passed and current!! And is Huey actually all brown?!?!?! I've never seen an all-brown cat before! You know....you really need an all-grey one, now, to complete the 'set'.....white to grey to brown to black! What a lovely family, all 'round! I'm glad you posted all these pics cuz they made me smile...then go running to my H saying, "And you thought WE had 'enough', with only 2!

My H learned a long time ago, that there is no such thing as too many or enough. He proved it when he let me keep 14 mice!
Huey is black, but Wilson is brown. He looks charcoal grey at times, but he's brown. When he was young he had some muted tabby stripes, but they all but faded. You never know, a grey kitty could be around the corner. Thanks for your compliments. I, of course, think they are all beautiful and great, but I'm their Mommy. Peace, Love, and Prayers, Michelle The link below show Wilson's welcome post. http://lightning-strike.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2812 This pic is Wilson in the morning sun. Is that a face to love, or what?

Oops! Sorry, Michelle! I got their names all mixed up when I posted! Yes, I meant Wilson. Really neat that he IS all brown! As for that morning shot....soooo sleek and serene! Wish I could give him a big smooch, right on his sleek cheek!
I'm also 'in love' with Rufus....ohhhhh, white cats are another fav*ourite of mine! I know their colours aren't what makes them so special....but I DO enjoy admiring what I'm drawn to, all the same! And no, I don't think it's just because you're 'biased' cuz you're their mom....they really ARE all so beautiful. -------------------- "I dropped a tear in the ocean.
