How To Know When Its Time

hi guys im back again,

i lost my beloved babybear in 2005, rescued the lovely and most loverable puss (aged 13) in the whole world, found out a couple of days after got him home he had problems with his heart... was gutted. he has had all the treatment he can have now his lungs are filling up with fluid again and i so dont want to put him through having a needle put in his little chest again.

my question is when will i know its time!!! will i just know or will he tell me!!! i dont want to be selfish but my heart is breaking and so is his

Rude Recepitionist?

Over the last couple of days i have been missing babybear so much i thought i was getting better but today when i woke up all i could think about was him even though i have ben to care about.

I have to take ben to see a cardologist on friday because he has something wrong with his heart, i had to pick up his chest xrays and ecgs yesterday to take with me. Now i insurance but i have to pay up front and then claim the money back now all along i have said that what ever he needs i will do but i need to know how much it is before had so i can get the money together.

I get a phone call on monday tell me how much it is and i told them not a problem i will get the money together she then say oh i was told you have trouble paying!!!!! i was so angry i told her no i dont have trouble paying just need to know how much money to bring with me.

Everything is booked and set to go for friday, today the recepitionist rings me at work to say that they have been told i have trouble paying and that if i dont have the money then not to bother coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then she tells me its going to be £200 more than they told me on monday when i told her that she said well if you want it done then just make sure you have the money!!!!!!! in the end i just put the phone down on her and burst in to tears, how dare she speak to me like that!!!! i will pay for it all i wanted to know is how much it is so i can pay!!!!! she has made me so mad and im really embarrassed that they think that i cant pay for his treatment.

I thought that people went in to that profession to care for animals not to ring the owners and tell them that if they cant pay then dont bother trying to make your pet better!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im So Mad People Are Horrible!

Im so mad at the moment im boiling inside, my partners mother phoned me last night to say thank you for looking after her cat while she went away for a night. She then told me that her cat is coughing and she thinks he has the same thing my babybear had!!! She then asks me about my new furbaby Ben and how he is getting on (we are having tests for an irregular heart beat) so i tell her that we are waiting for the insurance company to come back then we are having all of the tests because the vet thinks it may be a defect of the heart. She then says to me and i still cant believe it this morning that she said this 'why dont you let nature take its course?' 'its so much money that i just think that maybe it isnt worth it!' the rage just boiled in side of me i just didnt say anything back, i could tell by her voice that she knew she said the wrong thing. i then asked her what she was going to do about her cat coughing and she said 'well he has the same thing that babybear had so i think i might just leave it i havent got any insurance so......' i then told her that he might not have the same thing and that she needs to get him checked out. Sometime this woman can be so stupid in the things that she says, she knows what i went through when i had to make the choice of having babybear put to sleep because i was in america and she went to be with him, when i came back she couldnt even look at me with out crying so why is she saying now that i shouldnt do everything i can to make sure ben has as much time left as possible!!!!!

I Need Info On Irregular Heart Beats?

I need to get as much information as i can about irregular heart beats in cats. I have just taken my new furbaby ben to the vets to register him and she found that he has an irregular heart beat and he needs to go for and ultra sound, ecg, chest x-ray and a full blood works. I cant believe that this is happening as i lost my babybear on the 11 sept to heart diesease and if i had of found this in him then he still would be here so im damn sure that im not going to make the same mistake twice, Ben will have everything possible to help him live a long and happy life. So if anybody knows anything about it please can you let me know!!!!
