It is hard to believe it has been 1 year without my Chloe. If I think too much about that day a year ago, I still break down. Instead, I try to think about the good times--when she was not sick(like in this photo). I look at her photos around the house often, and am able to talk about her now without so many tears(today of course is the exception).
My heart goes out to everyone who is newer to lightning-strike, and dealing with fresh grief. Last year was truly one of the hardest times for me, and this website and the empathetic, caring people who post here truly helped to carry me through--Thank You.

Dear Chloe's Mom,

Thinking of you on the 1 year anniversary of your precious Chloe's passing. I'm glad that you can talk about her now without so many tears. She looked like an awesome dog.

Hey Chloe's Mom,
My heart goes out to you on this day. In less than two months, it will be the one-year anniversary for my Hannah girl too. I love that picture of your Chloe. Bless you.
Love,
Marcia

Hi Chloe's mom,

My thoughts are with you too on this one year anniversary of Chloe's passing from this earth. Since I've only been here at LS for six months, I'm not familiar with your original post, but I do plan on looking back to Feb. or last year to learn the story of the life you shared with your beloved Chloe.

Your Chloe was a beauty and I'm glad you are now able to remember her more and more with less tears. I'm also glad you were able to find the comfort and support you needed here at LS...only other pet-lovers who have loved and lost a beloved pet can truly understand the huge void left in our lives when we lose our furbabies.

You're in my thoughts,
__Jim

Hi, I am so sorry you have been a year without your little Chloe. She was a beauty. It looks like she is running with such energy and force her feet are off the ground. That is a real cute picture.

Snookie had cushing's disease, and later developed diabetes. Both had cancer, Snookie had cancer of the liver, and Chili Bean had cancer of the pallet. Chili Bean was our son's chihuahua but we kept her often throughout her life and she stayed with us for the last 9 months of her life. Chili Bean also had asthma and heart failure. We will see you in Heaven my precious darlings.

To My Old Friend.....Chloe's Mom:

Wow! I can hardly believe that a year has gone by!

I remember very well that my journey started here a bit before yours did.....Ernestine was put to sleep on February
7, 2004.....(my member # changed b/c of some changes with my e-mail address)...

Your sweet Chloe was sooooooooo very, very precious, and I remember all of the pictures that you put in for all of us to see.......(but, I did go back to take a peek!)..
She was a beauty and it was easy to see how much her mom loved her!!! wub.gif

I hope that you know that Chloe's spirit is always around you -- I believe that you do....

I've always remembered that beautiful post when you showed us little Chloe as a baby, and the beautiful words
you shared about your promise to her.... Always puts a tear in my eyes....

Take Good Care, my friend.... wub.gif

Love, Denise

Dear Chloe's Mom,

I went back and read your orig&%^ posts from a year ago. Chloe was absolutely adorable. I loved the picture you posted of her as a puppy. She kind of reminds me of the black and white version of my red and white Shiloh with all those cute freckles on her nose.

Thank you to everyone who responded to my post for Chloe. I have been meaning to get back here to post again, but life has been a little hectic these days. My husband and I celebrated the birth of our first child on March 16th, and I have had a hard time even getting a shower every day with the demands of a newborn, much less finding a minute to jump on the computer. Once again, thank you for your concern, and compassion.
