My dearest Mischief Princess, Mother's Day marked one year since our parting, I wrote this for you Angel Girl:

And so we entrusted our souls to each other, cheerfully swapping a piece, knowing we were joined forever. This exchange of ours brought a happiness not commonly known, but given to each other with no thought of giving, of debts owed, only the joy of giving and sharing - the multitude of gifts bestowed magnified by the act itself. This depth of bond, of love - as much as it deepened us, it also magnified infinitely, intensley, hugely, the pain of your physical leaving. Such a huge hole my love. I can never fill that Mischief shaped space you left here with me, I still miss you so much - but I am so very grateful for our years, and if I cry for you sometimes, believe me my bella, those tears are diamonds. I think of you every day my love, my little one - Mischief, my beautiful soul, I know our love is forever, but oh how I miss you.

Hi, leejaye, thank you so very much for sharing your and your beloved Mishchief's one year angel-versary with us. What a beautiful tribute to your beloved Princess Mischief.

Clinical professionals recognize that the first year of adjustment to the physical absence of a loved one is the hardest as it is filled with all the "firsts without" to endure. But just because the calendar says the first year has been survived does not mean that our hearts cease to miss the physical presence of our beloved companion.

Your beloved Mischief is tenderly holding the piece of your heart that she took with her in safekeeping until it is your appropriate time to join her in eternal joy - - and then your hearts will be reunited forever - - no more sorrow, never to be separated again. Until then you are entrusted with the many wonderful memories she gave to you during her earthly journey to cherish and treasure. You are blessed to be her Forever Mom, leejaye, and nothing in heaven or on earth will ever change this.

Thank you so much for sharing your and your beloved Mischief's angel-versary with us, leejaye. Please know you and your precious Purszival are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I look forward to knowing how you're doing, and sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Mischief.

Peace and blessings,
moon_beam

Hello, leejaye. What a great photo of your 'Mischief'! She looks like a formidable tabby cat. It is good to remember our little fur children and to honor them in this way. I can only imagine how much you must miss her.

Dear DannysMom, Thanks so much for the kindness of your response, my Mischief was a tiny little tabby (she looked a bit like a mega scaled down Maine Coon Cat) who was a part of my very being, like you and Danny it was love at first sight. I certainly agree with the rightness of honouring our furry little souls, they gave (and continue to) us so much, hope the universe is kind to you today,
And Dearest moon_beam,
"Your beloved Mischief is tenderly holding the piece of your heart that she took with her in safekeeping until it is your appropriate time to join her in eternal joy - - and then your hearts will be reunited forever - - no more sorrow, never to be separated again. Until then you are entrusted with the many wonderful memories she gave to you during her earthly journey to cherish and treasure. You are blessed to be her Forever Mom, leejaye, and nothing in heaven or on earth will ever change this."
Wonderful kind wise words again, my Mischief just keeps bestowing blessings - I am honoured to have met the people on this site, you are some of the most real people I have met, thank you, thank you, a lovely day to you and Noah my friend, Leejaye

What a beautiful photo. And a lovely way to remember her. Wherever she is across the bridge I am sure she is looking down and smiling before going off to play with her friends. Always remembered.

Angel Girl, How can it be that two years have slid away from me? Although I guess that time doesn't really matter, I still love you as much as I ever did my precious little girl, I am so very very grateful to have known you princess, thankyou so much for the years we shared, you are branded on my heart forever my love, my little one. I wrote this poem for you a while ago

Loomwork

i once knew

a soul -

so perfectly meshed

with mine -

we were so precisely tensioned,

exact warp to

corresponding weft.

our weave,

so fine,

so tight.

by the time this soul had to leave me,

we had created a fabric of

all surpassing beauty,

myriad complexity of patterns

stitched within.

and

now

parted,

separated,

as painful as ripped seams.

now.

i find myself holding tight

to the threads

that are left -

trying to move the shuttle

back and forth

fast enough

to keep up with

all these

unravelling ends.

What a wonderful poem to Miss Mischief! Leejaye, these threads will never unravel. For Mischief holds a leejaye-shaped piece of your heart and you hold a MIschief-shaped piece of hers. Imagine the joy when you meet at the bridge and these pieces clikc inot place, the fabric is restored a hundred times as beautiful as before - and all of this is forever.
