Good afternoon. I have been able to post a picture of my dog on my profile but no picture appears next to my posts or replies to other posts. Does that make sense and can you help me, please? Thank you, Patricia

hi, without being there looking over your shoulder it is difficult for me to pin down why this is happening.

please read this post regarding photo sizes

http://lightning-strike.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=4706

this post talks about adding an avatar under your screen name

http://lightning-strike.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=5939

if that doesnt work, send me your username, email address, and password using the Contact Page on this website. i will log in as you and see if i can see what's going on.

the photo must be a gif, jpg, or bmp file. typically this is the problem, that a file has been renamed but not actually converted to one of these formats. files size does not matter, but please keep it to about a quarter megabyte or less (250k) and 640x480 pixels in size.

if you mean a photo that appears under your name (avatar):
Your avatar must be no bigger than 128 pixels by 128 pixels in size. Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 50K.The following file types are allowed: gif .jpeg .jpg .swf .png.
