Things have been going ok here, but the last few days have been awful.

God, I still miss him.

{{{{{{{Steph}}}}}}} My God, Falkor is so awesomely beautiful! My deepest condolences for your loss and broken heart, Dear One. You came to the right place. Believe me, I do realize how difficult this is for you as I'm there right now myself and it's my opinion that these are the most gosh awful difficult times in our lives bar none. I wish I could reach out, put my arm around your shoulder and we would cry, laugh, cry some more and reminiscence about all the wonderful times.

Only three months ago? Still so fresh and raw on your broken heart. Bless you. I know it helps me a lot to come here and talk with Alex, bring him images and music from YouTube videos that he and I enjoyed watching together and there's a bunch more you can do. It may help you to go to the area of the board called "Pet Loss Support Resources and Articles" and click on the post titled: Your Fur Child Loss Devastation - You Are Not Going Insane. Here's a direct link to that post and articles for you to click if you wish ... Please Click Here.

You said that things have been going okay but the past few days have been awful. Please take all the time in the world and share more about Falkor and how you're feeling. I realize it will be so hard to even see the PC monitor through your tears many times. Remember, it's by caring and sharing that helps us get through this gosh awful difficult times and on the road to healing.

Please know that you and Falkor are in my thoughts and prayers as I wing many Angels to you for comfort and guidance through this very tough time, Dear One.

Many Comforting Hugs, Love, Peace and Angels to You and Falkor!!! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

Always,

Hello again, Steph. Another thing that brings me great comfort is knowing that my baby is not really gone but is still right here with me and only a breath away. A breath away is not far at all to where your precious Falkor is. I don't know if your PC has the capacity to watch and listen to videos but I hope so. Just in case, I'll type in the lyrics below so you'll know how your most beloved Falkor is really with you now and only just a breath away.

Please click on the Angel

"To Where You Are"

Who can say for certain maybe you're still here. I feel you all around me. Your memory's so clear.
Deep in the stillness, I can hear you speak. You're still an inspiration. Can it be? That you are my Forever Love. And you are watching over me from up above!

Fly me up to where you are beyond the distant star. I wish upon tonight to see you smile!
If only for a while to know you're there. A breath away's not far to where you are.

Are you gently sleeping here inside my dream? And isn't faith believing all power can't be seen.
As my heart holds you just one beat away, I cherish all you gave me everyday!

'Cause you are my Forever Love watching me from up above.
And I believe that Angels breathe and that love will live on and never leave!

Fly me up to where you are, beyond the distant star! I wish upon tonight to see you smile.
If only for a while to know you're there. A breath away's not far to where you are!

I know you're there! A breath away's not far to where you are!

More Comforting Hugs, Love, Peace and Angels to You and Falkor!!!

Always,

Thanks for posting the sweet images. I love the sleeping face - what expressions!

For me it has been just 2 months and although I can smile a bit more often, I still often can't sleep and probably think about Ziggy about once every 5 minutes. I guess I am getting just a bit more used to the new patterns without her, but I still think about her a LOT. In a way I am afraid that I will start to forget her - weird isn't it? But when I think back to my first dog, I can no longer remember his mannerisms (that was almost 30 yrs ago mind you), and I have trouble "visualizing" my first cat. I wrote down a bunch of my first cats little habits after she died and it's funny but when I read back now, I had forgotten some of those things. I think I will do the same for Zita and Ziggy.

Still, the connection of love is there always, I have to believe this - that this transcends both time and space.

Thinking of you and sending you my highest thoughts!

Jan.
