Thanks LS Support for posting this! Just today I read an article that basically said how it's more of a myth that black cats can get harmed on Halloween and how some shelters even allow adoptions on Halloween. I think it's better to be safe than sorry and to watch out of our little fur-covered friends. Black cats are some of the sweetest and lovable kitties.

pretty much all of the shelters i have 'liked' on facebook are issuing similar reminders. you're right, can never be too safe.

So true. There is an article in the local paper today about that. Many shelters here will not adopt out black cats this time of year.
