18 months ...

How blessed am I for the gifts that you left me my little Ellie ….
The gift of loving memories.

Run happily my little sweetheart in that land of meadows and green pastures and one day surely we will meet again

With love always

Dear Everyone

I had a dream .... it was as if Ellie had jumped on the bed and snuggled up to me in the way she once did. It was so reassuring.

Angel babies in heaven so bright,
Remember us on this Christmas Night.
Remember your Mommy's and your Daddy's, too,
And remember how much we're still loving you.

And Always Will.

Feeling very low since collecting Ellie's ashes from the Pet Cemetry today. I
Everyone is so cheerful with Christmas round the corner and somehow it makes me feel even sadder.

The morning after she died I was wandering aimless in the garden after taking her little body to the vets. At the bottom of my garden is a straggley old rose which must be about 30 years old. It only has one stalk on it and I always had the feeling that it was dead, but I didn't have the heart to dig it up, just in case.

That morning the stalk had bloomed and there was a large beautiful perfect yellow and pink rose. I put the rose next to her picture and took a photo as a keepsake. I wonder if the rose was blooming for her.

Here is a picture of the little carved wooden sleeping cat that contains my darling baby's ashes. (If I can attach it).

With love to you all tonight, I know there are many suffering badly at the moment.
My thoughts are with you all.
