Do you know the source of a tear?
Or why when it spills it is crystal clear?
Or, why it’s salty upon your cheek,
No matter whether sorrow or joy, you weep.
The source, is a fountain of love that’s within,
A love so pure, it is GOLD, not tin.
And that’s the reason it’s crystal clear,
It’s the part of GOD…within each tear.
Now ….the salt tastes bitter when tears are for grief,
But how sweet the taste with joy and relief.
This fountain of love is within us ALL,
So…. that’s the reason why teardrops fall…

Have you thought what would happen if we couldn’t cry?
Why our fountain of love…
Would just become dry!!

Hi everyone,

I have been on holiday and had a very enjoyable time thank you.

One story I must share with you is the couple we stayed with had a cat and we took her into our flat one night to sleep with us, bless her she stood at the door crying to be let out but the funny thing was she only had half a meow and kept crying OW, OW, OW. laugh.gif
Bless her we obviously let her out despite the other guest being allergic to cats unsure.gif

It always upsets me on my return to see so many new people hurting and posting to find a friend to help them through this very tough time.

I was glad to see that muffin has joined as a moderator MD deserves as much support as he can get.

One last thing – and I admit I haven’t read all the posts so may be poking my nose in – there’s a new girl Rita on the Disease and sickness support page asking about felv, I have no knowledge of cats so was wondering if one or two of you could give her some advice.

Love and cuddles to you all

Sue

nice poem, loved the ow ow story and I responded to Rita smile.gif

my cat Ginger meowed in a really cute way. he meowed really fast one meow after another and we joked that he sounded like the cat in the "baxter" meow mix ad. makes me smile to remember that.

Ginger was part Norwegian Forest Cat. When I first took him in he was a meanie, so his full name was "Gingersnap", and I did not change his name after I learned she was a he.
