Hi, I wrote this on the day after my bunny's passing, 7/20/2008:

For anyone who cares to read this, it's from my heart....

To my bunny

It's been just one day, I know you're not here.. I hope and I pray that you'll always stay near.
You've touched my soul, shown me such love, left a huge empyt hole, please watch from above..

I could never replace your fuzzy embrace, your cute silly face, your beatiful grace..

I hope you're at peace wherever you are, your presence I'll feel like a bright shining star.

Why did you go, I miss you so???

I know I will learn that time eases pain, for you I will yearn like a gentle spring rain... I know it takes time, to heal, to
feel fine.

Only time holds the key, and I know I will see, that this wasn't planned, you had to be free.....

I can't fill this space, right now I can't bear, to open my eyes, and know you're not there. At least when I sleep, I try not to weep.... your love, your gift, in my heart I will keep.

So I'll say goodbye and I'll try not to cry, for you were my friend, I know that won't end.

Thanks for your love, my sweet little man, please go in peace, because I understand.

I truly recognize that your poem to Geese was written from your heart. Your previous replies to others who are suffering in grief over their lost ones had already told me that. It is by giving and receiving from our hearts that we eventually find peace in our hearts and minds. Your selfless kindness touches so many others, including myself, because this is what love is really all about.

Keep on coming and bringing your inspiration to others. All of God's creations have loving spirits who truly tell about who they are and send messages of love in their teachings. Your testimony of love with Geese illustrated to me clearly that you truly understand what the meaning of love is all about. Your selfless replies to others will take you to places you never imagined. Your little man taught you well.

Your poem is so beautiful. I have posted one on tributes for my little Arthur. They were not my own words like yours, but it captured my heart and I shared it with everyone just the same. For you to write that with such feeling and love for your Bunny, makes you stronger than you know. Beth couldn't have said it any better. Peace to you. Ann
