Yesterday I cried because you werent here , but these days thats a rarity .... now I smile remembering how much you enjoyed life , a tennis ball was the best thing on the planet , until you found a stick , then that was the best thing , until you found some leaves to roll in ... everything was fun to you , and through you, to me as well
I loved watching you when you knew your Dad was home , your whole body would shake with pure pent in happiness , just waiting to explode in a dance of kisses and hugs , You showed me how it should be when you see a loved one you hadnt seen for all of 5 minutes , lol The night after you left I saw a double rainbow , my first ever , since then i've seen lots of double rainbows , its like you are keeping watch over us ... just remember to have fun playing up there sweet Ambereyes , To you it will only seem like a blink of an eye before we are all together again Until then, we miss you , we love you always Mum and Dad

Its been a year since I lost my Buddy
Of course there was, and still is , the pain of losing him , always will be and thats ok , The pain reminds me how blessed I was to have him in my life ... but thats been tempered by two new family members , two very precious and wonderful Border Collies who im proud to have in my life and call my babies and friends First came Toffee , He's a red , Caramel and white Border Collie ... my 13 months old laid back hippy dog , lol We got him three weeks after losing our Buddy , I just couldnt take how quiet and cold the house felt without a dog in it , and he made our home his in his own special way , he took our hearts and we are more than happy for him to keep them so soft and sweet , he's everyones friend , scared of nothing and he has tons of love and cuddles that he will happily share with anyone Then Gypsy arrived , she's a B&W mismarked Border Collie , She's 7 months old now , my soft, sweet little girl with the most amazingly expressive eyes ive ever seen on a dog she's more timid than Toffee is , usually she'll run and hide behind my legs if theres something she isnt sure of or doesnt like , she knows Mummy will protect her , lol I adore these two , and I know they adore me and the rest of our family we are truly blessed to have them Gypsy and Toffee , taken 3 weeks ago at our lodge in Wales

We recently became the proud parents of Toffee , a Chocolate/Caramel/white border collie
he was 2 and a half months old when we got him (he's just gone three months now), his old owners bought him , but after a week found out that a family member had a serious condition needing lots of hospital treatment and they realised they couldnt keep the puppy ... so we gave him a home , and he has fitted in wonderfully we werent going to get a dog quite so soon after losing our beloved Buddy Buddys thread but Toffee took our hearts and now wont give them back , lol we figured seeing as how he was so young he would adapt easily to a name change as we hated the name they had given him , it just didnt suit him , and as we thought he has adapted well and comes when he's called , he's very intelligent and already knows loads of tricks i've taught him ... housetraining is another matter though , lol ... he sort of knows he is to go in the garden , but we still get accidents on the carpets , and he doesnt 'go' on his walks , but does as soon as he gets back into the garden no matter, he's still a baby and im sure with patience , love and a little (lot) more training he'll learn heres a few pics of him attachment=2128:pics_C_005.jpg][attachment=2129 :pics_e_015.jpg]
