I have 3 sweet Chihuahuas spending the evening with me. But I feel lonely missing Pumpkin, Babbs, Bubbles, & Pooh Bear who were dearly loved and are sorely missed. I'm sure Christmas is magical at Rainbow bridge, but I wonder what New Years eve is like. I lost Pumpkin 11 years ago, but I can't help crying as I write this

I am spending the evening with my 2 precious cats (we're all cuddled up wub.gif ) but I so relate to your loneliness for the ones who have physically passed on. My Little Girl (affectionately called Pumpkinhead!) also passed 11 years ago. Then my Dolly 3 years ago. There is nothing in this world any more heart-breaking.

Thinking of you tonight. Let's stay in touch.

Kathy
P.S. I sent you a P.M. too in response to yours.

Hi, runningplace, like our forum friend Kathy I also can relate to your sorrow of not having your beloved Pumpkin, Babbs, Bubbles, & Pooh Bear physically with you as a new year begins. It doesn't matter how much time passes after our beloved companions transition home to the angels - - there is always a place in our hearts that longs to have them physically with us. The good news is that life at the Rainbow Bridge is always peaceful and joyful - - because there is no room for sorrow or unhappiness as our beloved companions patiently wait for our appropriate time to join them. I hope in some way this will bring comfort to your heart.

I hope today is treating you kindly, runningplace, and that you will have peaceful evenings blessed with your beloved Pumpkin's, Babbs', Bubbles', and Pooh Bear's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, and please let us know how you're doing.

Peace and blessings,
moon_beam
