I have not shared in awhile because I experienced Hurricane Matthew and some other family problems. Today, I sold my mom's car which has not run since her death, and I lost it. I cried for her and I cried for George who used to love riding in her convertible and sitting at her table eating off fine china. My son who is in seminary in NY still won't speak to me, and my husband allows it. I feel so alone. I want another dog or cat for my cat and myself and my husband said no. I used to be strong, but now I am weak and alone.
Thank you,

I love you and miss you Georgie. It has been close to 3 weeks since you passed and I still miss you following me around, playing tug of war, feeding you with a fork, putting your thundershirt on, and seeing you beg me for treats. You are my baby and I know you are with Nellie, Wally, Toni,Benjamin , and Bud. They will take care of you. Major misses you. We will meet again, my angel.

I have been looking through the forum, and I noticed the beautiful music videos. When my first cat died in 1998, I buried her in a pet cemetery in NJ in the country on a beautiful hilltop . I had a funeral, a casket, a viewing and played a Carole King song, Way over Yonder. I love this song, and would like to post it, but I can't with my tablet. You can find it on youtube. It is perfect.

Hi, my name is Vikki. I am new. 2 weeks ago, I lost my beloved 7 year old cavalier king charles spaniel , George to congestive heart failure . We got George for my son, Ryan when he was 10. Ryan had always wanted a dog, but my cat was afraid. When my cat died, I searched for the perfect dog and found him. George was spoiled rotten, he ate with a fork, he had severe separation anxiety and went everywhere with us. We got a kitten as well, Major Anthony Nelson and they were best friends . We took George in for his check up and he was diagnosed with a stage 3 heart murmur. He had been to the vet a month earlier . I had multiple condults, multiple meds tried. My son left for the seminary as George was diagnosed. He lasted 2 weeks and was in stage 6. The Dr. Said he was dying, he could not breathe, and we put him to sleep. I have lost many cats , this is my first dog. I believe in some ways, George was sent to my son as an angel. My son was home schooled and did not have many friends. It just seems strange he died when my son left. I miss my baby George so much. I pray he is free of pain.
Thank you for listening .
