I want to introduce RENESEMEE------Esme for short (probably what she will be called)

I have just accepted into my heart and home this gray and white ball of fluff. Is was an accident tho. I had gone to check on my daughter and they had 5 beautiful kittens. 4 gray and this one. I had seen them many times, but this time she seemed to call out to me somehow. I was drawn to her. Well needless to say she was handed to me and she is now on my couch. lol
I hope it works out ok. I have 4 fixed females already. I have wanted another baby for a while, but it just has not felt right. Sissycat maybe you sent her to me.

Anyway I am excited. I will post pictures when my daughter has time to help me. (i am not too good at adding pictures)

This is absolutely wonderful. I know you have been hoping to make a connection and wow...sissycat saw to it that you did.

Anxious to see pictures and am so very happy you felt that connection we need to feel for it to be right.

Hugs to you and your new baby!

Going pretty well so far. A few growls, but that is expected. One of my 2 1/2 year old cats that sleeps with me is pouting and mad at me I guess. She is at the opposite end of the house in the spare room sleeping in a pile of stuffed animals. She never goes in this room. Hopfully she will not stay mad at me for long. I have enough love for all of them plus more.
It is funny how cats can show feelings.

Congrats!!!...Don't worry all will be well. I bet in time the kitty that is upset will be besst friends with Esme..That's wonderful..There might be a new one for me. Dave has been very inquisitive about a cat I found at the shelter that I talk about. Could it be he might bend?? We shall see. His name is Andy and he is an older gentleman of around 8 or 10. My heart goes out to him. He has been a victim of discrimiation because of his age. He deserve a good home. ..By the way, if you ask your Sissycat to be Esme angel I should she would gladly ablige...Looking forward to seeing the photos.. Ann

Thanks Ann.
Still doing well. Esme can walk by a couple of them without the hisses, but the 2 older cats still don't much care for any of this new stuff. lol
I sure hope you can give Andy a home. I know the older ones always get picked over. They need love too. My daughter adopted an 8 year old female a few months ago. That is going great.

Hugs

hallo, Esme
very welcome
i wish you and your (pet) family all the luck in the world !!!
what does the name Esme mean ???

just right now, since exactly 10 days
i have a similar problem, or a precious gift, or fate, or just the chance to rescue a sweet little 3 months old babycat ( instead of beeing killed, yes, in my country,
no animal-kill-shelters, but still a lot of babycats drowned or put to death in a very cheap way, OMG)

so, wish me luck for my babies as i do for you
i will start an own thread when i am ready

love
Eva

Ken Albin can always help, right ???

I had not even thought to look up the name. I got it from the new movie TWILIGHT. One of the charactures names are Renesmee so I named her that, but will call her Esme for short.

Renesmee is a mix between Renee, which means "born again" and Esme, which means "esteemed" or "loved".

ESMÉ
Gender: Masculine & Feminine

Usage: French

Means "esteemed" or "loved" in Old French.

Hi sissycat-- I thought I would check out your new kitty, but I will come back again! Looking forward to a pic. I posted an avatar now, so you can see another pic of my little Iggy man, when I had just brought him home and he was all bugger-eyed with an upper respiratory infection. Anyway, LKM when you post pics! So happy you found Esme!

I will try to post a pic soon. My daughter has got to show me how when she gets the time.
Esme is doing great. A little fat ball of sunshine. She greats me at the door when I come in from work with her little mew.
Other cats are getting better around her everyday. At least Boogie is not mad at me anymore. (the cat that was pouting in the spareroom I had talked about)

I just wanted to post an update on Esme. Which the kids are calling Izzy.
She is getting along pretty good with both the 2 1/2 year old cats, but the 2 older ones are still grouchy when they see her. It is going really great. She has picked up playing peek a boo with us the same way Sissycat did.

She is growing so quickly.

Hugs to everyone!!!!!

Glad to hear Esme is fitting in with your family. Aren't those peek a boo games sooo cute. Many nights I come home from work totally exhausted after being on my feet for 10 hrs and still make time to play those silly games with Piper. I find myself at 2am munching on a sandwich and hiding behind a door. I just love it!..Ann
