I Got Shadow On May 2, 1998, 2 Months After My Mom Died & She Has Been My Best Friend Ever Since. I Love Shadow With All My Heart, I Dont Know What Im Going To Do Without Her. She Truly Made Me So Happy & I Will Never 4get Her. She Was Totally AWESOME. I Was Lucky To Have Her. Shadow I Am Going To Miss You SO Much And I Will Never 4get You. You Are In My Heart FOREVER.

Hey Moonbeam, Thank You For Your Kind Words & Caring. I Miss Shadow So Much. I Am So Lost W/O Her. It Was 1 Week Ago Today That I Lost Her. Thank God I Have My Dog Pooks, A Toy Fox Terrier & My Other Cat Boo. They Bring Joy To Me & Make Dealing With The Loss Of Shadow A Bit Easier. Thanx Again For Your Kindness

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Animals provide us with such unconditional love. It feels like a part of you is missing when they're gone.

I'm glad to hear you have other animals you can pour your love on. I have a 120 lb. collie/retriever/shepherd and 3 cats. When I lost Jazzy, I clung to each one of them. I learned a very harsh lesson the day my baby boy died - life is so fleeting. In the blink of an eye, things can change your life. Now I take time to hug and kiss each one of my furbabies everyday. That in itself has been very healing for me.

I'm truly sorry to hear about your beautiful baby, Shadow. I don't know what to say except I know how painful this time is for you and I'm glad you have your other babies to help you bear your grief. When my beloved cat companion, Nicole, died, it was her sister Tsuki's tiny shoulders that I cried on. I couldn't have made it without her. May your heart be comforted, WildHeart.

I Was Lucky To Have Shadow For 11 Years & She Made Me So Very Happy & I Know I Made Her Very Happy. Hi, Wildheart, I am so glad to know you have other furkids in your household to help comfort you and bring you joy. You may find that in their own way they too are grieving the loss of Shadow. When my 6 year old number one kitty son Eli died 28 months ago, my little kitty boy Noah was particularly devastated. Noah and his sister Abbygayle were the youngest members of the household and Noah had bonded very tightly with his big adopted brother Eli. My heart broke when Eli died, and the sorrow was deepened seeing Noah grieve so deeply as well. I spent extra time with Noah and told him how proud I am of his being such a good little kitty brother to Eli. Eli was my special needs kitty, my "challenge child", and Noah always surrendered to Eli - - whatever the situation was - - Eli was "top cat" in Noah's heart and life. I know the huge hole that is in your heart, your life, and your home, Wildheart. The important thing to understand is that Shadow will always be a part of your heart and life and home, and in time you and your furkids will be able to feel whole again with Shadow's memory always with you. This grief healing journey is filled with so many ups and downs and twists and turns, so please know we are here for you for as long and as often as you need us.
