That young lady loved you well
And would have kept you by her side,
Unwillingly she gave you up
And I can geuss how much she cried.

So Danny Boy, sweet Cindy, too,
Made the pet shop home once more,
Hopefully searched each new face
That came through the pet shop door.

Angels saw my precious birds
And led us to them one bright day
To bring them out and send them home
Where they are loved and will ever stay.

Now our precious tiels are held
Within our love and peaceful hearts,
Knowing they are safe and loved
Even though we're miles apart.

Our best friends who were visiting from Denver originally gave us Danny as a Christmas gift. Rachel and I went to the pet shop on another errand and found my birds there. They were immediately bought back by the guys and spent several days enjoying all their humans before going to Denver with their new parents. They are now safe, happy, and loved, and I can hear Danny whistling when I call. A wonderful ending to a horrible roller-coaster ride.

Young lady, whoever you may be,
I thank you from my aching heart.
You took those precious birds of mine
When cir%%stances forced us apart.

I know you'll love them as much as I
And give them all your gentle care.
And Danny Boy and Cindy too
Will return that love beyond compare.

Danny will whistle a cheerful song
And Cindy, sweet Cindy, in yhour ear
Will whisper sweet nothings that to me
Made her precious, made her dear.

For yet awhile, I grieve my loss
And sorry seems to cancel joy,
Yet down the way, someday will come
A little girl bird, or perhaps a boy

Our tiels went to a small pet shop where they were kept together and would not be sold separately. A 15 year old girl went in with her parents to buy a ##atiel. She feel instantly in love with Danny and Cindy and they went home immediately with her. I do not know who she is or where she lives, but I am sure my birds are well loved and someday I will have another bird.

They came into our lives
And brought unending joy,
One precious little girl bird
And one handsome little boy.

Danny and Papa whistled
Tunes so gay and bright,
But when Danny had enough
He sternly said "Danny go night night!"

Cindy was "feathered attitude,"
A mind of her own, but oh, so dear,
And nothing sweeter than when she chirped
Sweet nothings in her mama's ear.

But, sadly, nothing is forever,
The tiels and we must now part.
They've gone to another loving home
Leaving tears and a breaking heart.

We gave up our two beautiful ##atiels in early February and I am still weeping as I write this.
