I just want to say Hi and Thank You to all the wonderful people on this site who have helped me over the past year. I have not been on here for a long time as I find I have been too depressed and sad to be of any use to anyone here in a good way in order to help them. Im writing today to pay tribute to my Beautiful friend who has been gone one whole endless year today. I can not lie so have to say I have not come far in my grief. Im still totally devastated about Max and nothing I seem to do helps. I even sought counselling which is something I have never done over any loss and still seem to be getting nowhere. I have named a star in Canis Major after Max so he will never be forgotton. I did this for his first anniversary as it is most visible in January so I can see it every year in his memory.
Love always and forever Max. Mammy

Oh your Max was so handsome. Naming a star after your baby was a beautiful tribute. The first year is so hard. I can tell how much you loved and miss your Max. Thinking of you and Max Lori -------------------- Lori

naming a star after Max is a beautiful tribute to a beautiful dog. I'm so sorry for your loss.
We are here for you if you feel like talking about him more. I know nothing will make it hurt any less, but sometimes it helps to just talk about it, and know that someone is listening (reading) and sharing your pain. -------------------- |

I lost my best friend and kittycat, Butch, 10 years ago. Just five weeks later I lost his brother, Alex. Butch was my star, my love and my life. At the year anniversary I came very close to joining him. I was so depressed. I only made it through because of my husband and in that year we had adopted two new kittens about three months apart. Autumn and Moustache. I'm here now because I lost my little Moose kitty almost three months ago. Who knew he would only last 10 years? Thank you for your good wishes but I guess it's never smooth. It is possible one day at a time. I do get where you are coming from, if I can be of any help, you have only to ask. Happy New Year from Colorado too. Love Lori -------------------- Lori

Lisa,
It is so good to see you on here. I think of you often and wonder how you are doing. Now I know, I am so sorry I haven't been in touch, with the new baby and we moved....it has been hard. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I genuinely hope you begin to heal. Parkers Mom |
