After my Eileen died last summer, I did not think I would get a new cat. But Heidi showed up at our door and just sort of moved herself right on in. Now, three months later, she has just disappeared. I am heartbroken. I have visited the shelter, asked all the neighbors, put up flyers, done everything I can think of. The poor baby just had her st*itches removed from being spayed three days before she disappeared. I feel like I cannot handle another loss. It's just not fair.

Hi Magdalene.

I am sorry you are going through this. My cat, Bennett, went missing last summer for eight weeks, and it was unbearable. Thank God, he returned and is here now with me. (thread: Missing since memorial day....)

How old is heidi, and what kind of cat? How long has she been gone? Was she fully recovered from the surgery?

Many cats go missing, for different reasons, and we have many success stories. It is frustrating and scary to imagine what is happening, and not knowing what to do next. You have already done a lot.

Was Heidi microchipped or with a collar/tags?

Please let us know, and we will try to help you through this.

Paris.

Hi Magdelene,

Hang in there, stay positive and know that others are thinking about and praying for you and your Heidi's safe return home.

Take care of yourself -
