sad.gif hello. my cat who is almost 2 years old has been gone for 10 hours and she is never gone this long. she goes outside for about 10 minutes then comes right back to the door. now its dark out, and cold, and raining, pretty soon it will be snowing. i loved that cat so much, she was my baby!!! i am so sad i dont know what to do. over the summer my other cat was shot in her lower back with a rifle by some jerk and she had to get her tail amputated. then my other cat got attacked and then dissappeared. those cats were well over 10 years old and have been going outside their whole lives without problems. now we have to worry about them going out and doing what they love to do. this sux.
i hate it, i want her to come back!!!!!!!! if she comes back i will never let her go out again. i cant take this, i miss her so much. what do i do??????????????? how does one forget about something that made them so happy......

Hi there!!!!!

I am sooooooooooo sorry that you are missing your baby, for right now............... sad.gif

I am one of the moderater's here (Denise (Muffins)), and ever since I have been here (since my sweet girl Ernestine was put to sleep on 2/7/2004).......................

THE MOST ALIVE PART OF THIS FORUM IS THE "DEATH AND DYING".............

I am in no way, shape or form saying that your sweet baby is "in that category".............but, since soooooooo many people are there on an hourly basis..............I feel that you will receive much, much more support, love, guidance,
and sooooooooo much more.............

If you want, please let me know, and I will move the post you wrote and put it in the D & D forum area..........

Is that okay with you????????

I will PM you my home e-mail address, so that you can tell me......................Okay?????

God Bless!!!!

Love, Denise

p.s. Your baby will come back, my new friend........... Pray to St. Jude......... I have a good feeling that
your furbaby will return home & healthy!!!!!!

I am praying that your baby comes back too! Maybe your baby is just hiding somewhere because of the weather?

Hopefully she will come home soon. Have you looked under the bushes and in the garage if you have one or under the porch. Set some cat food out and she if you can lure her back that way, of course you might get some neighbors cats too. Maybe tomorrow you can put up flyers, call the dog pound, and your local vets. Also check the paper to see if anyone took her in. One of my daughter often takes in cats for the night when it is cold when they wander to her house. I am sorry that some creep shot your other baby.

I often babysit my childrens kitties and I do not let them go out. After they learned I was strict about it that quit asking to go out, they now stay inside when they are at their own homes too. I have always been to afraid of them being struck by cars or attacked by other animals.

My girls went to the Rainbow Bridge 6 weeks and 3 days apart.
Snookie had cushing's disease, and later developed diabetes. Both had cancer, Snookie had cancer of the liver, and Chili Bean had cancer of the pallet. Chili Bean was our son's chihuahua but we kept her often throughout her life and she stayed with us for the last 9 months of her life. Chili Bean also had asthma and heart failure. We will see you in Heaven my precious darlings.

I feel your pain! Our little boy, Boomer (English Bulldog), vanished into thin air from a secure backyard on the 17th. We immediately went into recovery mode, and found a wonderful website at www.petrecovery.com

I highly recommend checking this site if your little girl is still missing. I believe the search area recommended for cats is only a one mile radius from the point of disappearance, based on the research done by the founder of the group. Use her suggestions for creating flyers, and post them up around your neighborhood and in local pet service businesses (pet stores, vets). We put our flyers inside a sheet protector (the things that go into 3-ring binders). Staples carries them really cheaply. Be sure to have the sheet protector upside down (opening at the bottom) when you put your flyers in - this delays damage from rain, snow, wind.

If you happen to live in Ohio, post a "lost" report on www.petfbi.com

Be sure to check any cat shelters in your area, and take out a classified ad in your local paper. Our paper usually charges a bundle for classifieds, but they gave us a deeply discounted rate since it was for a lost pet.

Good luck, and feel free to send me a note using the PM or e-mail button below..
Christine
