To Little Dave: I truely am going to miss you. The way you gracefully swam around your bowl, and how you loved to watch me eat and it would make you eat too!...When it was time to clean your house you'd swim right into your net without a fight. I have to admit I was getting a little annoyed when it was time to feed you and have to pick out the special "bits" in your food since you didn't like those fishy flakey things. But that was my fault, only I can spoil a fish. It was fun to watch you looking at the fish in the aquaium photos I printed and put up against your bowl. I think you fell in love with that little yellow fish. You took my mind off of Arthur from time to time and even though you were "just a fish" I did enjoy your company. \

Rest in peace Buddy

In case anyone is wondering: I did not flush him!!...He got a nice little buriel wrapped in the aquaium photo he so much loved to look at. ....sadly this photo was taken less than 24hrs b4 he passed..
(happily swimming with the big fishys now)...Ann

I'm so sorry about your lil Dave. It just goes to show that any animal can bring a lot of love and happiness.

you certainly hve a kind heart ann, thx for sharing it with us.
wow little dave was a gorgeous fish.
thx for sharing how you took care of him when he died...for some reason i really appreciated it.

My Mom had a couple of very larg gold fish years and years ago. One of them kept leaping out of the aquarium, but she somehow managed to always be there in time, until he jumped out during the night while she was sleeping. She cried and cried over the loss of that fish, so I do understand your attachment to Little Dave. I'm sorry you lost your little buddy. Very nice of you to give him a proper burial.
